Yesterday I successfully used a video game controller. I played for a couple of hours, and didn’t have any problems moving my injured thumb. It was sore afterwards, but I see that as progress. Next weekend, I’m going to try doing cross stitch again.

I started doing cross stitch and embroidery a month or two ago. It’s actually good stress relief. Of course, I, myself, became a cross stitch project when I hurt my thumb, son there’s that.

I’m still learning, so it’s just simple patters. Before I got hurt I was doing a house with the word “nut” next to it. Eventually I want to try to make my own patches.

It all started when I was sewing a Ghostbuster logo patch to my uniform. Yes, I’m such a geek I have a Ghostbuster uniform. It’s my go to cosplay at conventions.

On a side note, I really miss conventions. This pandemic has made it really difficult to see people.

I love cross stitch. I've been doing it for years lol. Crochet is also a great way to keep your hands busy.

I played video games for a bit today, but my thumb wasn’t having it. The problem is, the pet of my thumb that works the control stick has a constant pins and needles sensation, and it’s not all that comfortable. I have to play more, I think.
