i guess i missed your gist. i thought you were mainly talking about stolen content vs genuine homemade stuff.

my comments about erotica vs porn, etc, spun off a few comments in the thread, but maybe i'm missing everyone's point and just thread-jacking.

Threads evolve. I may have started with one point and moved on to another...or tried to reword to cram multiple points into one thread or to clarify.

It's largely pointed at the people who seem to repeat the mantra "Who cares if pics are real or stolen or not, I just come here to jerk off, and you're killing my j.o. fantasy by questioning the authenticity of the one uploading the pics."

Of course, I'm paraphrasing... many of those guys wouldn't use a word as long as "authenticity".

But seriously, I agree that Lit is not JUST a porn board. Sure, there's porn here, but it's also a discussion board. And as with any online discussion board, there are the smart people, the smarty-pants, assholes, innocent newbies, etc. I once saw a link to different kinds of "classes" of people who frequent online boards, I thought it was funny. I also like it that you can ask anything here (esp. in the How To section) - anything from what lubricant to use, software/hardware problems, hygiene, nailcare(!) and even recipes!

All in all, it's a discussion board on an adult site. There's a difference. Amateur, by definition, means not professional and posting something here implies that you own it.

Edited to add: no I don't live here and I don't take the site or myself too seriously. I'm as much of a goof off dork as anyone. I'm sarcastic. However, there are standards.

I very seldom go into the am pics unless I am in there to see Malia, I have no interest in playing with myself to pics here and really no interest in guys doing it to my av or profile pics. I don’t really think of this as a porn site, prolly is considered by a lot to be porn. I see lit as just a place where I can spend some time away from the stress of the world, relax, and have a lil fun.
