Thread and writer appreciation thread

often a challenge

The question here is; is the challenge writing with me, or me myself?

If you could just help me with this knot on my tie, Star??

Psh. I'm not Alice, do it yourself. :p

Thank you for writing with me, annnnd thank you for all the other stuff I'm not going to put up here.

It's my pleasure. Also my pleasure, but we're not going to go there. Even though you already pretty much did.

(Can I say that??) (Oh, I just did.)
Would it really stop you if I said no?

The New Job with TrithIre and ChaoticLove.

A D/s thread about a wealthy man who hires a new personal assistant who has atop her regular duties the obligation to provide sex for her boss.

TrithIre is another writer I'm a fanboy of (I especially love the threads he's done with SinfulWhispers) ChaoticLove is another writer whom Trith writes often with and she is just as awesome as he is. They really work well together here and you can tell from reading it too, their chemistry is what makes this special.

The style is one or two paragraph posts here, but these two masters at this SRPing business prove that writing short posts as opposed to the long ones does not hinder the quality one little bit in this. If you want to learn how to do a short post thread exceptionally well I recommend studying this thread.

EesomeBeastie - I have had the pleasure to write with him, I have read some of his srps and recently discovered his submitted stories. The latest "A Halloween Hunt" had my adrenaline pumping and suddenly I had urges to howl. His gift for description just blows me away. His stories come alive, so vivid you can almost touch them.

Damn Sally, its you that inspires me, and I am totally honored to be mentioned amongst the others.

A mention to my fellow writers
Sallythescorpian, Rayne_Clowd, Babygurl1968 it is an absolute pleasure to write with you

*blushes* Thanks grant..but there are many more out there way more better than I am,but Im honored you think so*hugs

I'm really enjoying Tina Pays The Rent with nom du demimonde and susurrus. They've really captured the I-don't-know-if-I-should-do-this element of that interaction.

Also, great usernames, both of you! :)

A couple very important thank yous to throw out there.
I don't mean to pimp my threads, but I have two ladies that truly deserve my thanks and praise.

First and foremost to my beloved EclipseValeska.
It is no surprise that she and I have chemestry together, but that chemestry also seems to extend to writing together. I have been writing with her for as long as I have known her, and although most of it has not been on lit, she is simply a gift to me, so I wished to thank her publically. Even if I tell her often how highly I regard her I wish to acknowledge what an amazing writer and partner I find her. She has a way with words that I envy, and often motivates me to write better myself.
We did a thread a while back and I am too lazy to go find the link to post it here.
However I would draw your attention to this
http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=732802
Thread. For even though it is just starting is one of my favorite pieces of work I have ever done. I have never actually sat down and put forth the effort to write posts that are over a page in length before. Even though this thread is in its inphancy I can see it going far. I would welcome any feedback any might have on this ambitious undertaking we have just started.

Second, I wish to thank Fiendish_babe for her work with me on Succubus
http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=731364
Although This thread utilizes the 1-2 paragraph style I more often favor, that by no means suggest lower quality of writing. it is a pleasure to write, and I look forward to her posts. Its been a fine thread to help welcome me back to lit after one of my long absences, and as her first thread on lit it too shows promise.

Thank both of you for your tallent in writing, and making RPing such a pleasure for me.

mirandavillere

A special heartfelt thank you to the most excellent miranda villere for embracing with so much enthusiasm my bizarre, ill-considered, tentacle monster thread; for filling so well the role of the sexiest heroine who was ever vigourously tentacled.. and also my apologies to same for my failure to live up to the challenge of the role. Sorry.:rose::(

Sexual Addiction 101 with USWMachine and PrincessSexci.

This is a great thread dealing with a woman going to a therapist for dealing with her nymphomania only the therapist takes advantage of her makes it so they have sex in order to treat her sexual addiction. If you want to find a thread where PrincessSexci really shines you can stop at this one, and as for USWMachine he's a skilled, competent, and giving RPer also I'm incredibly jealous of him that he came up with the idea for this thread. Grrr, why did you have to be so brilliant instead of me-just kidding :D

Oh wow, thank you so much! Thats very sweet of you to say Veroe and if USW checks the lounge, I'm sure he'd enjoy the compliment as well.

Just a little note, and I hope appropriate here, but it's the only place I can imagine it applying. I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying some of the threads here in the Lounge. There are many personal threads of a rp nature in some parts that I enjoy on occasion.., and many 'fun' threads that I love poking around in when ever I'm on, and they brighten my day.
I won't name or link them, there's no need. I just wished to say thanks and it's a great way to spend a bit of my own personal time.

Admist the Ruins - How Love Finds a Way
Light Ice and Alana_

This thread has only just started but I know I am going to read every post with baited breath.
These are two incredibly talented writers and the opening post alone was in a league of it’s own, had me on the edge of my seat! (And, admittedly, feeling a little nauseous too it was so vividly written!)
Brilliant stuff, can’t wait to see how this works out…!

I just wanna thank Luna_Wolf for wanting to make my vision of a thread based on the Wolf's Rain anime, a reality.

Wolven Hearts
Give it a read if you like, I think it's probably my best writing yet. (which... doesn't say much.. but anyway)

The Runner. This is an absorbing, well thought out thread written by two awesome, skilled writers, namely Fuckmeat and Commendatore.

This will suck you in from the start. Can't wait to see what happens next!

The Long, Dark Path by Lady_of_Roses and Marauder13, a compelling read, detailing the journey of a couple entering a Master/slave relationship. A realistic, indepth insight, well worth the read!!

Two talented authors, whose writing skills dovetail, and compliment one another.

Be sure to check it out!

Brit, thank you..I've only just saw this.
I hope you continue to read it. LI is fantastic, and a sublimely tallented partner, and I'm delighted he asked me to cover this one with him. Again thank you for reading .:rose:

Just giving credit where it's due... :rose:
Will definitely be reading along, wouldn't miss it!! ;)

The Lure of Darkness by Marauder13 and MsAphrodite.
It's about a vampire and a woman who's attracted the Vampire's interests. This thread is just starting, only four posts in so far, but its from two very skilled and competent writers. Marauder is among alot of peoples' favorite RPers on this forum, and he doesn't dissapoint in this, and MsA I know from the group thread I've done with her, that while she doesn't do many RPs, what she does do is consistently awesome writing in the RPs she does do.
The real draw for me on this is the moodiness they've injected into their prose thus far-for a thread involving a Vampire a dim, gritty, gothic mood, is a must. That being said mood is the hardest thing to maintain consistently at this RPing business-so here's hoping these two magnificent writers can keep it up.

Deliver Us from Evil by cgraven and Yeishia.
This thread is about a chineese bandit who captures and makes a Christian missionary his sex slave.
I can't believe I have not had a thread by either of these tremendous writers here in my appreciation thread. My apologies to the both of you on the oversight. CG is one of my old favorites here. I really like the in depth approach whenever he does one of these history based threads, he really doesn't cut corners when portraying the time the thread takes place in-I admire that about him. And Yeishia is one of the good friends I've made here, and one of the most dedicated and thoughtful writers on the forum. Anyone who does a thread with her will get her absolute best she can do with the subject as CG has gotten in this. Also her portrayal of Eve here is riveting thoughout the ordeal CG's character puts her through. She never misses an oppurtunity CG gives her to reflect on or advance her character here-top notch RPing.
Coudos to the both of you.

I am not one to post in such threads. Why? Because I don't like the elitism that comes from it...with most writers who are not popular left to feel neglected or unappreciated/talentless.

BUT, I must give Veroe and Dark_Empress an applaud for their story Inside the Inferno House. Very well written, very thoughtful posts...looking forward to see what happens. If you are new to the BDSM world, like me, it is a great read. A nice, timid, slow introduction into that sexual world...one that will leave you curious for more.

There are more writers I admire here, so please do not feel bad if I have not mentioned your name. You know who you are as I tell you all the time. :)

Thank you so much, Shy. It is my first and so far only foray into Dominance, it is very affirming to know you at least appreciate it.

I never intended this to be a thread promoting elitism-on the contrary I started this to celebrate the efforts of unknown as well as well-known writers here equally. To provide affirmation and encouragement equally, but I can't do it all by myself. get to work people. Find those deserving writers, those enthralling threads and let them know you appreciate them here.

Oh Veroe, I'm sorry. It never crossed my mind that your intentions were for promoting elitism or popularity...I was just stating that it happens despite how fair we try to make things.

I personally am on a mission to find some of those deserving writers. Funnily enough, I am trying to find an awesome SRP that doesn't involve Marauder13! I can't read his work atm because it intimidates me far too much lol. So if you have any suggestions, please let me know :D

Wow, I have just been complimented and a little insulted in two sentences! Talk about a first for me.

I am sure that there are awesome writers out there. They just need someone to stumble across them and let the rest of us know.

I have a look at this thread whenever something new is posted to see what threads other people have found that have potential. I have been taking time out to read other threads a little more now, as a buffer against getting too worn out by the writing I am doing.

Oh, if I find anything that might interest you, Shy, I will definitely let you know.

Yes, there are more than one or two brilliant writers out there. They don't hang around in the Lounge, so you'll never see just how brilliant they are. :)

I definitely understand the intimidation factor with several of the writers here Shy. So many are just so talented, it's a little overwhelming at times. I find anything written by Gaia's_Child is usually wonderful. Sallythescorpian is a talented writer who uses shorter but not less wonderful posts if long posts are intimidating.

If I could also pimp an old favorite of mine, written by Luciandevine and Ladythunder, called An Auction From Hell. It was the first one I really read when I started coming here, and I can still go back and reread it and find it enjoyable.

If you want to totally avoid intimidating posts or talented writers I'm sure you could always dredge through what I've written as well :D

God, I swore I wouldn't say anything self depricating or reference my work. Oh well, I'm still a work in progress I suppose.

Edited for linkage.
