Good to hear you're getting a break for a bit. Unlikely here until October. And I'd rather just have it hot than a hurricane. We did get a break Saturday before last when it rained all day, but forcast now jas chances of slim or none.

I'd rather it didn't rain on me at the county show tho !!! have you tried walking through muddy tractor tracks? and must be lethal if you are the driver of one of those little pony carts that go like the clappers through a winding assault course!

Can I have a sort of a rant and a rhetorical question really?
What would you do if you knew a secret that would hurt a lot of people if it was told and they certainly wouldnt thank me for the telling, but it worries me that I know and they don't and that it's not right that they have been led to believe something that isn't true? Of course I will never tell for one thing I would lose dear friends on both sides for a start, but I wish I never knew because it hurts me and stabs at me ....... must grow a thicker skin maybe some day and possibly mind my own business

Well I didn't try to upload anything yet. But when I tried to listen to others, nothing happened. Maybe you have to actually register? Shall figure something out, yes indeed.

It doesn't specify what kind of file to upload or a file size limit, I would check both and see if you're exceeding limits or specs. Mine were little .wav files, so I can't say why mine work and yours doesn't. Perhaps it's an ISP thing?

When I found this host server I'd googled "free audio hosting". Try it and see what pops up from there.

It's Memorial Day tomorrow over here. One of those holidays which now falls on a Monday (long ago, it would have been today, May 30).

because of them, the curve balls, i've started doodling. it's such fun! i went to a local shop and bought a set of coloured gel pens and am now doodling to my heart's content. funny how the simple things have become the important stuff. but that's a good thing and it's as it should be.

hope everyone's well and enjoying the warmer weather. down here we're still having utterly beautiful days mixed in now with a little of the rainy stuff, but even the rain is beautiful. having a new life is like looking at the world with new eyes. it's sure a wonderous place we live in.

It's Whitsun (i.e whitsunday/monday) which was really a religious occasion but would hardly be called that now I don't suppose although it was when I was a child. Tomorrow my town holds the worlds biggest one day Carnival and if I am rested enough we will attend part of it as we can park quite closely to part of it. Probably won't go right into the town but just attend the biit in the park where the Carnival procession sets off from.

It was really hot today and breezy got sunburnt going round the County show!

Had our first BBQ of the season today. I cooked hamburgers over charcoal and had fresh corn on the cob. Not as fresh as when I was a boy in Illinois, when we'd pick it up from a farm, husk it and eat it with butter, salt and pepper.
I'll be cooking a whole brisket all day tomorrow.
