Titties! Okay, now that I have your attention...

Season Three of "Game of Thrones" started last night (HBO) :D :D :D

We were both all, "Awwww, already?" when the episode ended.

We were, too! I said, "That did not seem long enough!"

My problem is that I watched the first 2 seasons back to back, watching two or three episodes a night. Now I have to wait a week for the next one, like the rest of the hoi polloi.

Misfits can be great fun as well. My fav actor is long gone from it though.

We love, love, love Misfits round here! I think I know who your fav was. He really was brilliant wasn't he?

Sweet smoking zombie jesus! Who saw the Walking Dead finale? Wow!

And who also watches the Talking Dead and heard the creepy caller they got?

*fingers in ears* I'm not listening! I think we're at least half a season behind, if not more, so can I get a spoiler warning if anyone wants to talk details?

The other shows I love mostly consist of local Kiwi content like Outrageous Fortune, Almighty Johnsons, 7 Days, Q&A, The Nation etc.

I am really hanging out for another season of Breaking Bad. Plus another season or 3 of The Mighty Boosh! And after googling The Wire for a synopsis, I think we're gonna have to source that too...

I've been meaning to take on The Wire, too. So many amazing actors have come from that show. Maybe a summer project ...

Don't worry, I won't give away any spoilers! Just come back when you've seen it!

It's good. X-Files meets big old fairy tale books, stir in one cup Harry Potter.

That's a good way to describe it!

And who said they were team Damon? As opposed to Stefan? Totally agree. Not that I would kick either out of bed for any reason at all. Ha.

Have you seen all 3 seasons of Mighty Boosh? The 3rd seemed to drop off in popularity over here (must admit I preferred season 2) and it doesn't look like they'll be making any more soon. Did you see Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy?

Re dragons, want. :D

Me, too! I love the dragons. They are the only thing that make Daenerys story even a little bit interesting to me. By the time I got to the 3rd and 4th books, I was pretty much barely skimming her chapters. But I love the dragons!

Anyone ever read the Dragonriders of Pern books by Anne McCaffery?

Multiple times each over the past 40+ years.

One of my most prized possessions is a bookplate personally signed by Anne McCaffrey, obtained by YK without giving me a clue, sent to me as a birthday present, and recently framed *very* nicely, with the envelope from Ireland in the documentation pocket on the back.

The kid that played Nathan was my fav.

And today I finished The Walking Dead for this season. I don't know anything about the talking dead but it sounds creepy.

Yep, that would be me.

Stefan is a whiny, lying, selfish, judgy, preachy, pathetic...just ergh...I don't do angsty overgrown wallowing teen crap.

At least Damon is upfront and honest about being a self motivated bastard. He always is and does exactly what he says.

And Damon is hotter...way hotter...

Not as hot as Capt Jack from Torchwood, but John Barrowman is gay. If he wasn't, he'd totally be on my free pass list.

And yeah, waiting for the next installment of GoT sucks. Me personally doesn't think the Targaryens should be allowed to take the throne back, dragons or no. In the earlier book series, they were pretty much all insane, power hungry and completely sadistic. A bit like an entire family of Joffreys. And they used to hunt and kill dragons.

I'd love to see Arya on the throne or as the king's hand when she's older. She'd be awesome.

Difficult for me to watch teenage angst when played by an actor who left his teens behind a LONG time ago.....just can't go with it...

But Damon....oh yes! Definitely yes!

I love the walking dead, but I have yet to see the finale. Somebody already spoiled it for me on Facebook though which really made me mad.

I also enjoy Sons of Anarchy. I didn't start watching it until recently, but it is intense.

I am currently obsessed with the History Channel's "Vikings" series. I love the efforts that were made at portraying Viking customs and culture and there is a decent amount of sex and violence. Also, it gives me a major linguistics boner.

For some reason I never seem to watch a show that is currently playing, besides Walking Dead, Daryl just does it for me. Ok, finished drooling but if anyone like British shows, Shameless is hilarious, I am not a fan of the American version. Also... the British version of Being Human. Though, the American wold is hotter then the British. British Vamp is way hotter. Both on Netflix.

I enjoy the British version of Being Human and I also somewhat enjoy the American version but it's not nearly as good except in looks.
