Trump Fucks up the Economy

It's interesting, the imbalance between the sexes. Population decline due to low birth rate is exacerbated by the fact that the rate is "number of births per WOMAN"! Even if women start having more babies (extremely unlikely, of course), since women are less than half the population, and will be for quite some time to come, those babies will still not be so numerous.
In China one may only have one child. Because boys are valued more than girls, a couple that can tell that they are about to have a girl baby are somewhat likely to have an abortion.

The war between Russia and Ukraine has reduced the male population for each nation, so there are more unmarried women than unmarred men.

China has reversed course, fearing the "Demographic time bomb," but it isn't making any difference. Many other places, Japan, Italy, even Iran are seeing reduced birth rates too. Some forecasts have China's population cut in half by the end of the century!

As for Russia and Ukraine, they already had high female-to-male ratios before the war, due to lifestyle issues.

All you need to know about Trumponomics:

Trump's protectionism has pushed the average tax on some $3 trillion worth of imports from a very low 2.5% at the start of the year to around 27%. That's something like an $800 billion tax hike on American businesses and consumers. Most Americans haven't felt it yet because importers stocked up on goods in the first quarter, knowing the tariffs were coming.

Bigly new taxes. Huuuuuuuuuge. There has never been a tax like it.

Trade war fallout: Cancellations of Chinese freight ships begin as bookings plummet

The number of canceled sailings of freight vessels out of China is picking up as ocean carriers attempt to manage a pullback in orders due to the trade war and tariffs.

A steep decline in containers being shipped to the U.S. will have a big impact on the supply chain, from port to trucking, rail and warehouse economics.

“We won’t go to zero containers, but we will see a decrease in containers and as a result, in the future we will see a massive raft of blank sailings announced,” one freight expert tells CNBC.

The Butterfly Effect…( A “supply chain of events”.)

Only “The Butterfly” in this scenario is a giant orange wannabe “Monarch” flapping its flabby wings like crazy…

The “Effect” will be proportional to the flapping…

It's only taken three months for Trump to send the American economy into a tail spin.

He did say, "Biden and Harris broke it, and I will fix it. It won't even take very long."

To his cult followers, that's promises made, promises kept.

Care to expand on that a bit? I'm perplexed.

Alcoholism. And outside of Moscow and St Petersburg, and maybe a few other cities, rural poverty. The good looking Russian girls head for the cities and money. And now. to China.

There's so much racism in China -- will any man marry a Russian? Even Koreans are too exotic for them.

Trump's tariff and trade wars are moving the US into the greatest economic and political blunder since the US depression of the 1930s.

China is fighting back and obviously was prepared for this attack. The US Bond market is apparently the weak spot and with the exorbitantly huge debts the US possess, there is virtually no space for the US to move in this area. Things are getting worse since it is not only China dumping US bonds, but Western nations such as Canada, members of the EU and now even Japan.

Trump absolutely underestimated that Canada, Europe and Japan won't have it and showed that they are more than willing to use the sledgehammer on the US bond market in order to defend their interests. Trump's ill-conceived tariff war, which targeted virtually every nation at once, and was flanked by his boastful behaviour towards US allies, gave them all the incentives to remove the gloves. At some point, not even friendly nations are going to accept this kind of behaviour, and they fought back, not necessarily by raising tariffs, which only hurt their own population, but by targeting the US bond markets. And it worked. This is why Trump surrendered on tariffs against most of the Western world.

Trump is now trying to focus on China, but this will only work, when it is aligned with all Western allies, especially with Europe. Trump, however, has shown his disdain for Europe, and alliances altogether. There is not much trust left and the price to fix these cracks he has opened will be enormous (for the USA). Countries are already movung away from the USA and trading with America. Australia is taking over the beeg export market in China from the US. Canada is talking to the EU on closer ties and switching trade to China (Oil, for example). Malaysia has openly aligned with China and other smaller Asian countries sich as Vietnam, whom US tariffs are badly impacting, may well do the same in return for increased (stable) trade. Other countries will follow as they realign their economies and exports, likely also reducing imports from the USA at the same time.

China on the other hand, has fostered deep economic ties with many countries around the world. President Xi is currently on a trip in Asia and he will find it easy to explain why it would be better to align with China, rather than with the US whose unpredictability goes so far that its tariffs make no difference between friend and foe. Trump has done Xi's marketing for him. This alone shows that Trump did not come up with a good plan, if he had a plan at all, which, based on what's happening, I rather doubt. Everything relied on shock and awe, and the assumption that everyone would cave in fast. The moment this didn't materialize and was faced with strong countermeasures, his game got exposed. Trump blinked and the USA is losing. Even if Trump makes nice with Xi, he has demonstrated US unpredictability, and other countries have taken note and will move to reduce the risk. Risk management 101. Reduce exposure. Even if Trump goes today, that will now not change.

Trump is leading the US into the greatest economic and political defeat in US history. He unified most countries against him and not even the biggest economy on Earth can sustain a blunder of this magnitude. Trump swapped Canada and Europe for shady regimes in Russia and El Salvador, while strengthening China in the process. If somebody would want to weaken the US from the inside, then this would be the most efficient way. Most of his cabinet and all of his advisors are incompetent yes-sayers. Good leaders allow dissenting voice in their inner circle in order to challenge and eventually identify flawed plans. Putin made the same mistake when he launched his full-scale invasion in 2022.

In less than 3 months, Trump managed to weaken the US for no good reason, kill a large number of US exports, destroy long-established trading relationships, eliminate a lot of future US defense industry sales, and bring a healthy US economy down to levels unseen compared to all major economies across the globe. And he's just started. The US economy itself is on the verge of entering a recession, and now potentially even a depression. The US Dollar is buckling like a third-world currency, something the BRICS countries have been trying to achieve since the conception of this club, but could never do so. Until Trump took office.

Together with his blunder in Ukraine, which has only emboldened Russia and escalated the war, as well as destroying the reputation of the USA as a reliable security partner, Trump is currently steering the US into political irrelevance. Making deals with the USA has become a gamble not many are willing to accept. This is going to haunt Washington when dealing with Iran. The mullah regime will have even less reason to surrender its stockpiles in weapons-grade fissile material when seeing what's happening with Ukraine after giving up its nuclear weapons in 1994. Other countries have declared their intent to go nuclear. Poland for example, and Ukraine is no doubt working in the black on their own nukes. Trump has made sure that the only real insurance policy for independence is a nuclear warhead. It is not hard to predict what this means for nuclear proliferation in the coming decades.

The only way to prevent this disaster from further unfolding is a major course correction, where the US sits together with its allies and hammer a coherent plan which is based on common values and mutual interest. It is however extremely unlikely that Trump will acknowledge he has fucked up and do this, and that means a colossal economic defeat for the USA, and it's reduction to a regional power.

The EU and China will take the place of the USA as the world's superpowers, China happily, the EU reluctantly. The USA will be relegated to being the North American equivalent of Brazil.

LOL. Ever seen blonde Chinese girls? Blondes are popular in China, and mixed-race white/Chinese children are accepted. The real prejudice is against Koreans, Japanese dwarves (you should hear my Chinese grandma on Japanese - prejudiced - she makes ME blink) and blacks.

Singapore Ends Trade With U.S. After Trump Tariffs? PM Wong's Big Reveal On New Export Markets

The Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong announced his country will explore new markets for exports as Trump administration slaps now-paused tariffs on almost all the trading partners. He was responding to a series of questions in Singapore Parliament. Earlier, he assured Singaporeans that they will not be intimidated and are not afraid.

As a result of the Trump administration’s ever-evolving tariff agenda, investor sentiment is now worse than it was during the height of the Covid pandemic, which paralyzed large parts of the global economy, according to new survey data.

Sentiment among fund managers is the fifth lowest on record, according to the most recent Bank of America Fund Manager Survey, which polled 164 global fund managers managing a cumulative $386 billion in assets between April 4 and 10.

Investor feeling was only worse in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attack, the global financial crisis, Trump’s first-term trade war with China, and the 2022 inflation crisis.

So much winning, you'll be sick of it (well, sick anyway).

Trouble is, are those red-hatted truckers capable of working out that it's the Fraudster's policies at fault

They’re capable of working it out, but they will NEVER admit it.
