this is a thing that still causes some conflict in my brit-cultured mind: Halloween... you're supposed to dress up as something scary, ugly, freakish, awful, horrifying, so ghouls and ghosties, witches and warlocks, werewolves, vampires, dead nuns, something out of Saw, that kind of thing
over here in the USA, it's about dressing up like fairies and cartoon characters, dogs dressed up like hot dogs, with a few witches and spiders and pols tossed into the mix. SO when a video shows people dressed as Kamala, it seems as if they're saying she's 'bad' but then i remember where i am. It's like that float in a Halloween parade the other day where they had 'Kamala' bound in chains walking behind a 'trump' on a float with secret service agents and a rifle pointed at her. Of course i can see why here, in the US, it has no place, but let's face it... that is one scary proposition trump in power and exacting his vengeful pettiness on his political opponent. damned creepy
