TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

It passes over mine too, it's a pretty big path though, and with Mother Nature's mood swings it could bring another perfect storm with it.
I was up early cooking and prepping, still have a bit more to do but it looks like it's going to be a good day. The wee human got a new mountain bike from the season hopper who did her work in the middle of the night and was hoping for a nap but we now have company on the way and the house is getting crowded. Next year I may do as a cyber friend does and book a cruise.

I'ma have to drive to see the eeeclipse. There was one in 2017 that was maybe 60% where I was working. It was enough that I could tell that something was up.

Got the tractor home and offloaded. This thing sounds great when it's running, like it's rarin' ta go. I asked my buddy about the hydraulics and he gave me some options and then validated my conclusion. He's great like that. So I'll go though and change the oil and the filter and rebuild the hydraulic pump and then we'll see what's what. I may take it out and tear around the neighborhood. Hell, I may put Load Pipes on it, or just a straight exhaust.

Went to J's for Easter supper. Bless her heart, she gives it all a really good go of things. She's just a boring cook. I used to make stuff and take it over there. We may be back into that way of doing things now what I'ma Back East an' shit.

Off to read here in a bit.

Happy Monday!!! Beginning of the work week. Kinda ready for it. Not certain what it'll look like. No matter. It'll be fine because it already is.

Watch your thoughts, they become words;
watch your words, they become actions;
watch your actions, they become habits;
watch your habits, they become character;
watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

I hope the Zombie Jebus brough youse all some colored eggs and peeps!

I ate so much this weekend, I was starting to see the attraction of being a fattie where it just doesn't matter any more.

Wat ate too much on Monday Thursday. Yes, I know. This weekend was more moderate. Sensible, too.

Mrs. Tyler has a bone doctor appointment today. I'm trying to get her to get a battery of x-rays to see what's up with her back and hips. She's not instructing the doctor so to do. So we'll see what Dr. Stubborn will have done for herself today.

Laundry and Paperwork, two things that never seem to be finished.
The business is closed, the office is working, the coffee is stronger than usual which is a good thing.
Negotiations are in progress and I'm not making people happy, go figure.

Your not making other people happy makes me happy, so there's that.

Started the day on the phone with the company It people. That wound up taking several hours, but now my electronic shit works and I have access to the corporate web of intrigue. Such as it is. Then there was my email inbox and all of the links to various training thingies to do. Being as it was a light day with the sticks-n-bricks part, it seemed to be a good day to get caught up on the rest of it.

Mrs. Tyler actually followed suggestions and got the x-rays as recommended. Seems that she has compression fractures in her back. MRI is next. Could be worser.

Happy Tuesday!!! Slept pretty well. Up and getting running for yet another day of Not Too Much Happening, but that's okay. It's getting there, regardless.

The dogwood is blooming nicely this year. The azaleas are lagging behind a bit, and they're blooming in a different order. The big dark pink one is first, and it's usually the wee purple ones near the road which are first. Those are lagging. The big light pink ones usually come in with the dark pink, but they're lagging, too.

Looks like no rain until Saturday. That reminds me, I need to inquire about that car with the one-year-only engine. Can't have too many of those . . . .

Hi folks! Thought I'd pop in and share a tidbit. I had occasion to sit in one of the recliners billed as a big man's chair.
I don't know what giants they are designed to accommodate, but I resembled Edith Ann sitting there.

Wasn't she five years old? I think that she was.

Got the balance of my monies (thank you, Don Cornelius) shooken a-loose for the Former Oppressors. No resentments, just a touch of nincompoopery. It's why I wasn't a fan of the current HR staffing.

I talk to the new HR staffing come Thursday. We'll see how this goes.

My coffee worked for the side of good today and pulled me away from that endless paperwork pile so I could tackle that long list of need to dos. I made a pretty good dent and if all goes well I should finish the necessary ones tomorrow. We're having some beautiful weather and helps with the motivation

And just to show that there some good people in the world, I have this bit of trivia

Well, I've never been to Spain, and I really don't give a fuck about the music.

I bought some maintenance stuff for the new tractor. And a hot rod air cleaner. :D

Back on the road tomorrow.

And it showed.

Funny how much they look like Kaiser Bill.

Taco Tuesday. Good outing.

It's Uighur Wednesday!

Let us never forget the face of true oppression as we buy all of our cheap crap from a nation at war with us.
It strikes me that this is something they have in common with the Progressive Democrats.

I don't need your civil war...

Ready on the Left! Ready on the Right! Shooters commence firing at your dog-face pony soldiers!

[post 7767 looks like Hunter Biden setting up his first influence deal with one of his dad's cronies]

What isn't blooming outside is a bright, budding green. Just gorgeous. From the 40s at night to the mid to upper 70s during the day. It is so nice to have the heat off and some doors and windows open. Things can get kind of stale during the cool months. No rain on the horizon. Good weather to get a shed erected.

😎

My small town is now yuppieville!

For the past 10 years or so, the tree-hugger, non-bathing types have been moving into the area and filling the vacant store fronts downtown with CBD stuff, hemp, artsy stuff... and all manner of hippy dippy stuff. I suppose it's better than vacant buildings. And Wackey Weed is better than Meth... But the Covid was the death kneel for the town - as far as being for good-hearted people of the mountains are concerned.

We have a ski/lake resort to the North about 15 miles - Tourons and Lake People suck.
Now we have a yuppie downtown.

Why, just this morning I went into a fru-fru coffee shop and got a espresso. $4.50. Next door is a fru-fru wine bar. I've never been in there, but their web site says it's $8 for a glass of wine. More than I pay for a whole bottle!

The Legion and VFW still charge $2 for a beer. Although Bud products are no longer available.

People like to make sport of West Virginians, but we's all sophistahkated now!

Happy Wednesday!!! Slept decently, but I did have an arm stiffen overnight. It took a few seconds to get the elbow to come-a-loose. Silly first world problems. Cats have eaten. Kitten is exploring. The other two have gone back to bed already.

Heading down toward the coast to the job that's underway. Looks to be 84 today and 87 tomorrow, and then it'll drop off a bit. Still rain for the weekend. Of course.

Coffee now, however.

The new summer tires seem to work well in the snow. I think that the Easter snow has finally stopped coming down. I hear there's over a foot of new white shit at the cabin and the on ground snow level is back up over 4 feet (1219.2 mm for the I-P impaired).

I drank coffee and finished all but one last mandatory repair today, I'm hoping to get to the last one tomorrow, after coffee of course.

Safe travels Wat
JS with prices like those think of all the tax dollars they'll be paying to fill potholes!
Thor, we have some greenish grass and buds on the trees as well as the sun that's been missing, you can keep your snow for now, I don't want it back until Hallowween.
