The new summer tires seem to work well in the snow. I think that the Easter snow has finally stopped coming down. I hear there's over a foot of new white shit at the cabin and the on ground snow level is back up over 4 feet (1219.2 mm for the I-P impaired).

Happy Thursday!!! Slept well enough. Fed some cats and made some coffee.


Gonna be hot today, and we got Mister Picky the inspector today to watch us install a window or two.

Yes it is Thursday and we are mired in an extended period of absolutely perfect weather. Even the few clouds are perfect-looking clouds. There's just nothing to complain about on that horizon.

Happy Friday!!! Woke up a bit too early, but so it goes. Dead to the world and its whinging before that. Cats are fed and staking out places for their after breakfast naps. Which reminds me, I have to put out food for the neighbor's cat. She likes coming over here to eat while she's out.


Looks like there be t-storms this afternoon. Yesterday was lovely if a bit warm. Need to spray another round of plant killer on the boundaries and cut the grass in the back yard. And there are still training vids which must be seen so's that part of my entry stuff can be retired, so to speak.


Hell, we have to get caffeinated today first.

Good morning, happy Saturday.

Cool and breezy with some auto maintenance to be done......good day for it.

The Forest Service totally destroyed the main gate at the range on Wed. Not terribly surprised at that, they can't shoot worth a shit either.

There was the story at the range A Bit West where the city cops were out shooting one day and then the county fuzz arrived. Seems somebody overshot the berm and put a hole in a house trailer door a ways away. Of course, the county cunts asked the two range members what they were doing and what they were shooting, all while the city pigs bugged out like there was a fire the had to go to. I knew one of the range guys, and he could pretty well hold a flea's asshole at 200 yards, so there's that.


Happy Saturday!!! Slept okay, but I could use a bit more maybe. That's what a nap later is for. Got a bit more paperwork to knock out this weekend. That'll go okay, just a bit of tedium.

All good things have got to come to an end and that would be a cold front bringing in thunderstorms tonight which will be a good test for the new shed. I'm pretty tall and I can stand up in it. That's the cool part. It also has two sets of doors, which is also a very cool thing and there's a ramp to put the riding mower up into it. It will provide good storage and get a lot of crap out of the chicken coop and give them some more space to scratch around in.

If things go bad, which I don't anticipate, it is perched on the edge of a ravine, like everything else here. Life on the ridge.

Last post fritzed out. Manu(re)'s gerbil still isn't up to snuff. Maybe it needs snuffed is the thing.


Got in my latest ammo order: Cop Killer 230 grain JHPs in .45ACP. Wat has always preferred Cop Killer ammo. Unloaded all the big .45 mags and reloaded them in the new stuff, still keeping one in reserve with FMJs in it. Got two 40-round drum mags, too. Thinking of doing one in FMJ and the other in JHP. We'll see.


Always buy Cop Killer ammo.


And never call some dork a tool. Tools have utility, and dorks do not.

Schadenfreude moment of the week: Jabba Senior will be retiring at the end of the month. Word around the campfire is, he was forced out because of the botch he made of those two jobs Back East last year. Problems with not doing what was in the contract to do (not reworking bedroom windows to meet fire egress codes, for example). The issue with the job getting derailed with the fire department shut-down last summer. Stuff he tried to keep a lid on but it got found out anyway, it seems. And the fact that they had to send the production VP and his fire brigade up to finish out. Cunt say that I'm surprised.


Kinda too bad that Wat isn't there to enjoy it.
