TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

Mrs. Tyler is fed.

Last week, she ate bupkis. "I don't feel well." This week, she ordered extra and ate it.

Purdy day out, this one is.

Don't know why I put off my tax bullshit until the last weekend, but I did. And it's done. And cocksuckers owe me.

I should wash the truck now.

Ly down to doze off for a bit. Seven hours later, I have fucked up my sleep schedule.

Cats don't care. they are always either awake or asleep.

So I made pancakes.

A cold front passed through last night. One of those April showers, but I don't know about flowers since all of the trees are already in bloom. It's red, pink, and white out there and what passes for a redneck lawn is awash in purple. In some ways, it's like some artists rendition of an alien landscape.

Football is back, so I have something to do on rainy days.

Coffee, rain in the near future, I got the first cuttings from the leaf lettuce in my tote garden which is still indoors.
All quiet and calm here.

I wonder if I shall attempt any gardening this year. Even the strawberries died out. There's something growing, I just don't remember what it is.

That's how my tote garden started, I knew one year I would never have the time to tend a full garden so I covered it in clover to rest that year and filled some totes with dirt for a salad garden.

In the face of an obstacle which is impossible to overcome, stubbornness is stupid.

~ Simone de Beauvoir

Went back tobed and went back to sleep. That was a good thing.

Now I'm late to Wally's, but so be it.

I may do a tomato plant or two this year. Maybe . . . .

Cherry tomatoes are easy to grow, and they are tasty. I wish that my big maters did more gooderer.

The tomato starts are on a table in front of a south facing window in the living room. It will be several weeks before they get to the greenhouse.

I'd like to sell all of these fairly new windows which we're going to be replacing. Like 160 of them from one job and about 96 or so from the other. I guess that, given enough silicone caulk, I could gum them all together into a greenhouse shape.

You know, modeled after a grail-shaped beacon . . . .

The previous greenhouse was made from old double glazed windows. And then, polycabonate for the roof.

Sounds like my future greenhouse, if one materializes.

The landlady isn't much on growing vegetables.

I'll take my veggie garden over critters. Veggies don't care if you take off for a weekend or go on vacation, critters take exception to their cookie dealers disappearing.
Remember the new agers that moved in last year and I argued with them about using fresh cow manure on their garden and finally just let them spread it over a foot deep on some sheets of newspaper so they wouldn't have to dig or worry about weeds? Well, the manure has already sprouted and is nearly a foot tall and they're asking for help because that wasn't supposed to happen. Now I need to decide if I'm a good person, a bad person or morally gray somewhere in between. I really hate decisions like this.

You're morally gray. As am I. It's the plot basic of spaghetti westerns, and that's why we enjoy watching them. That and the people who really need killin' get killt, and they actually bleed, too.

Happy Monday. I have a virtual meet with the HR lady this morning. That and I have a couple of emails to send out, and probably some to respond to. And more training videos. You know, what I've been doing the last couple of weeks. And I need to get my printer going again. I think it needs cartridges.

Gonna be cooler today and hotter by the end of the week. And I may have lined someone up to he'p me to collect the free old car engine donor from Up Nawth.

And I do have coffee, so there's that.

Tell them about the magical advice machine called the internet.

Well the China Flu is making the rounds through Gawd's country. The Fee-aun-Say and future inlaws are all sick. The Elder Savages are sick. Mr. Savage the Elder was in the horsepitle for a week, but they said it wasn't the plague. I'm skeptical. Mostly because I think Medical Doctors are putz's and don't really know what the hell they are talking about, most times.

Ole Johnny is fit as a fiddle though. I credit my clean living lifestyle.
