TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

Few fools have huevos sufficient to be present. Many hide online in "plain" sight.

Happy Thursday!!! Business is done, or was last night. The old cat is visiting the office table in here. This is new. Dishes are washed, dryer is running, and some things are laid out to be packed for the upcoming Juneteenth Road Trip Out West. Looks to be about the same weatherwise today as yesterday, and here as there, too. It's still Spring, thanks be to Allah.

And there is still coffee . . . .

Rode the new bike to work this morning. It was 42 (American), but supposed to be 70 today. So, I put on a jacket and cowboy'd up.

Do you wear a brain bucket when riding said Eee-leck-trick Bicycle???

All up in my office trailer with the windows open. Eating a snack-snack or two. Lunch is here, that what I done packed. Got some plumbers doing pipe butchery, a couple of wire butchers, and the wood butcher doing miscellaneous stuff.

The management lady is fixin to file against the wench who broke the sprinkler head and flooded the other building. Seems that she's 3 months rent delinquent in addition to having a crack issue. She told the social services woman that she'd rather be homeless and have the dope man paid up than pay her rent. The management woman asked me why. I just went on told her.

"Because you won't shoot her and the dope man will."

Hitler offered General Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck the ambassadorship to the Court of St James's in 1935, and he "declined with frigid hauteur"; the suggestion for the nomination as ambassador to the Court of St James had come from retired Colonel Richard Meinertzhagen during a visit to Berlin.[55] During the 1960s, Charles Miller asked the nephew of a Schutztruppe officer, "I understand that von Lettow told Hitler to go fuck himself." The nephew responded, "That's right, except that I don't think he put it that politely.

Had our first hole through a ceiling into a tenant's apartment to deal with today. Size of a quarter. Wat taped it from topside. We'll fix it when we move downstairs.

Home. Grazing in. It's more snackage than anything. Stopped at the grub stores and got some snackie-snacks for the ride and some more which are more, shall we say, poodle specific. There's probably gonna be a Big Ol' Fella glad to see his Wat. And a big ol' Lab girl, too - and a retriever.

The most trustworthy critters all have four feet . . . .

Happy Friday!!! Slept okay. Chances of a quiet day at work are pretty good. Likely. The plumbers won't be there, the wood butcher finished yesterday, and the wire butchers are milking the job with travel. Besides, it's an early release day because we have a three-day holiday weekend.

There is a marginal risk of severe weather today. Pronounce "severe" as "sever" and you can have a lot more fun with it.

Let there be coffee.

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.

Here. At the job. If we have no wire butchers, then I'll go to the blue box store, score a tarp, cover the wood, and then go home. It's Juneteenth, motherfuckers, so Wat ain't agonna put up with no motherfuckin' oppression from Da Man.

Wire butchers finally arrived.

Went to score a tarp and covered the lumber.

They can leave any time they're ready

Even the most challenging projects don’t tarnish the appeal of Dodge’s W150

Likely because Dodge knew the many work roles for which these trucks were destined, the company didn’t skimp on engine options for its third-gen D/W trucks. Base vehicles came with a slant-six. Depending on the year you can find iterations of the Chrysler LA V-8 in 318- or 360-cubic-inch displacements, or the 400-cubic-inch B and 440-cubic-inch RB big-block V-8s. Dodge dabbled in diesel in ’78 and ’79 with an anemic, 105-horse, naturally aspirated Mitsubishi engine, but few sold and fewer exist today. Dodge returned to the diesel scene a decade later in the Ram with the now-familiar turbocharged Cummins 5.9-liter straight-six.

Home. Been here for a bit. Getting stuff to the back door to load the truck. Rain arrived, so some of the loading can wait until morning. Got in a wee nap - more like a rest with my eyes closed. Washed a load of clothes with shirts to take, and that's in the dryer. Did a bit of food prep for lunch and snacks. Having a snack and then there will be the onboarding in the overnight bag and a shower. Then the Friday Night Gang.

The Travel Toothbrush is ready by the overnight bag. There is toothpaste Out West.

I do like summertime. I think it has to do with the reduced clothing requirements.
