TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

Out West!!! Long(ish) trip, as always. The weather was good and the traffic was heavier in spots but generally cooperative. No major st000pids. The kitten took half a day to settle down but hit her stride after about 5 hours. She rode like a champ the rest of the way. If we did this regularly, she'd be the bomb. Ate in - supper was simple. Dogs were glad to see me, and the new one to meet me. Good visit with the barn cat. Brief poodle time, but more tomorrow.

Gonna sleep like dead people, insh'Allah.

Happy Sunday!!! It seems to be Happy Fathers' Day, too. Slept pretty well and woke up by myself at Regular Time for here. The kitten is rolling on the floor and Wat is on cuppa #2.

It looks to be a typical late spring/very early summer day. The doors are open now and the a/c is off because it's cooler outside than the setting of the a/c. There's a big old frog out in the pond singing his "come fuck me" morning song.

List of stuff to get some while here includes getting some parts from the old parts car and getting those ready ship FedEx to the left coast to the guy who wants them. There is a set of hub caps which can be collected to ship Up North, too. Gotta function fire the new 10 with the ammo the new Cop Killer bullets I intend to use in it. Always use Cop Killer bullets. They're The Bestest.

Almost time to go to feed some Ungrateful Inconsiderate Big Poodles.

Changing my shoes and socks. Feet got pretty damp out in the morning dew. Fed the big poodles. Bully Poodle was full-blown back to being my horse and spent the next hour stuck up my ass, which is fine. Not everyone has the Mad Skillz to have a horse up their ass. I felt some tools Back East which would make the car project today a bit easier, but there is enough here to get it done regardless. Put a lead on the big poodle and took him with us to go across the street and access the sit-chie-ay-shun. The landlady has made good headway on limbing the trees along the line of the back yard across the road so she can mow it without getting carved up by thorns and briars and the like. So they won't rip her "taught" flesh.

Then we looked at the car. Not much left there, really. My engine, some trim pieces peculiar to the long wheelbase models, and the LWB driveshaft front end arrangement which I hope to demo today. Meanwhile, Bully is grazing happily, including some tree leaves because he can.

Then we looked at the proposed campsite for the new RV park. Glad I came up when I did. The landlady and contractor had come up with two sites and one set 90* from the other. Looked to be a bit too short as well as too difficult to get a RV into. Then I saw it - Allah sent me a vision. If they guy is doing the work, he can make 3 sites as easily as 2, and there's room. All parallel, and 90* from the road, which is more kinda like normal. So I showed her and she agreed. Since it makes sense to us, we should be good. And if this works, then it'll be the model for further development to move it all to the other end of the parcel since this development (which is simple and cheap) is on the proposed/future house site, with several rental house sites in between. There was clover there, so Very Happeh Poodle.

It's coming together . . . .

Happy Father's Day one and all and to the rest my sympathy.

Got all but the trash out of the new building, tomorrow we'll load the big truck to the hilt and get rid of most of it, the rest will keep topping up our work one. That means I can start spray painting the building for future work.

No poodles here, we have a pupper though who I love dearly and who needs a walk, since the sun is out and the trees are shady, we're heading that way so the tree rats can yell at us.

Thank you!!! The kids sent a message. From Japan.

The new Lab poodle loves the pond. I think the other girl goes in more now because of her. They're outside now quite damp, and it's not from the shower that passed through.

The car project is an epic fail. It's off to Plan B with that thing.

Got some bodacious rain. The Collective Puppy was damp, and is now inside. Poodles are out night grazing. Old car is in the yard for its pre-bath rinse, thanks to Allah. The parts car is jacked up as part of the implementation of Plan B. Kitten is on her cat tree, which she loves.

Off to read . . . .

I haven't bought a skull bucket yet. I have an odd, lumpy melon and haven't found that right fit. I'm catching a bit of heat over the issue so I guess I'll get something at the Wally Mart this week.

Speaking of bikes/cycles and safety. I just sued a fella and the process server found him in the hospital. Wrecked his brand spanking new H-D. Lost a kidney and an eye. I felt like a dick for a moment, then I got over it.

And this week I continue my battle with old plaster that won't stay on the ceiling where it belongs. This is why dry wall is much more better. New granite counter-tops.... ehhh. They are ok. I'm worried about staining them with my cooking skills. Starting the subway tile back splash this afternoon. Unless I take a nap.

Bell. Pit Boss. Wat likes them a lot, and they make one that (almost) fits Wat's Large Cranium.

Happy Juneteenth. Wat is celebrating his Diverse Freedom today. The kitten thinks that it's just Monday. We have enough holidays with this company and time off accrues quickly enough that Wat will get a vacation on a holiday week when the need arises. Probably T-giving.

Late lunch today, a client dropped in to do paperwork, so while the minions ate, I made nice and walked him through everything. Reheated food still fills the belly but it doesn't taste as gooder as fresh made.

Rainy afternoon. Still going. My car project didn't get done - it's outside. We did get the new dehumidifier installed at the rental house. We also got the new pressure washer put together. Went to dinner at the road in the county seat. Made a mistake on the supper order. It wasn't hitting on a great deal. It happens sometimes.

Did get my new 10mm back from its factory look/see. Out of the box, it wouldn't cycle, so I sent it's new ass back where it came from. It's been back several weeks now, but I haven't. Now, I am. Tried three different loads and all the mags, It didn't miss a beat. So I have a mag of people load (Cop Killer) in it and one other mag with more of a critter load, but it'll kill cops, too. The critter load shoots kinda hard, and the people load is a bit easier, but the serrations on the grip got rough after 25 rounds. A trip to the range might warrant use of a pair of shooting gloves. The way that Wat shoots here Out West, a few rounds won't hurt.

Gonna be up early . . . .

I miscalculated in a good way, all the junk fit on the truck, the building is now empty and the next phase can begin :)

Happy Tuesday!!! Wrapping up some overnight rain. Looks like a semi-soggy trip Back East today. The kitten has been very good company. Will miss the little and large poodles. Didn't get to spend as much time staring off to the southwest as I would have liked to, but then I tried to pack 12 pounds of shit into a 5 pound sack. I do that sometimes.

So it goes . . . .

I took the spray paint in and started marking things up in the building. Now I have a stack of paperwork to take home and do tonight but I still feel good about making progress.

Home. Long damned drive, but we all knew that going in. Grazing in, simply. Burning some josh for all and sundry.

Brought home a new butt pad for the company truck. I fucking hate that seat. Not a fan of the truck as a whole (Toyota Tacoma - it's too fucking little) and especially not the seat. I have sat on five gallon buckets as comfortable. Anyway, it's in the house on the work table to go out tomorrow. The old cat sniffed it, liked it, and has his ass curled up in it. One night, kitteh!

The kitten traveled like a champ coming back.

Happy Wednesday, and Happy Summer. Today is Wat's favorite day of the year for light. It's all downhill after this. Looks like rain today, at least off-n-on. And we have the inspection from the local housing folks today, too. Wheels will be on the way. No matter, these wheels are much rounder than previous examples.

And coffee is much wetter . . . .

The Sam one has a big moustache. And a flap holster, so he ain't in no itchin' hurry. Woody has the crazy eyes, so you know he's gonna make the first move . . . .

Rainin' like cats-n-dogs today. The drive to work swallowed gallons of goat goop. Wat bailed (yes, he said that) on the interstate early and took the back roads to work. Here's wagering that I still got here sooner.

The Maine D.O.T found over 200 dead crows on highways recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. A Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was NOT Avian Flu.
The cause of death appeared to be from vehicular impacts. However, during analysis it was noted that varying colours of paints appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analysing these paint residues it was found that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with motorbikes, while only 2% were killed by cars.
The Agency then hired an Ornithological Behaviourist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of motorbike kills versus car kills.
The Ornithological Behaviourist quickly concluded that when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow to warn of danger.
They discovered that while all the lookout crows could shout "Cah", not a single one could shout "bike"

Home. Grazing in, finishing off the remains of week before last's leftovers. Still pretty damned decent.

Got all of the people through the jobsite today. It took all fucking afternoon. No matter, that'll hold us for the rest of the month. Or until Julyteenth, which is when the next inspection is.

Do vegans fellate???

Happy Thursday!!!Slept pretty well, but that isn't surprising since it's been a busy week and only one workday. No more wheels this week, thanks be to Allah! Got a couple of calls to make today. One of them involves moving the step-in shower controls from the side wall to the back wall. There's a difference between accessible design and universal design, it seems. One more useless statistic to shove into Wat's head for safekeeping and to amaze his friends at cocktail parties or something.

Meh, No matter. Coffee matters . . . .

The drought continues. No mowing. YEAH!!!

The deer are keeping any grass that might be growing under control. It doesn't even look ragged. We have a lot of deer.

In an hour, the Good Morning News is telling the world that the air in the submersible will be exhausted (still assuming that it went down intact. I'm sorry, but I consider that a true ship of fools proving once again that some people have more money than brains. I guess that puts me firmly in the cynical column.
