Giffy bewbs are often nice. Three thirty-eights are better to open . . . .

Happy Friday!!! It's a good day for a multitude of reasons. Slept decently. Got some time off in the works. Gonna get the bike back, probably this afternoon. Work will be quiet today. Got a bit of documenting to do there and then it'll be a short day on the jobsite. Of course, the punishment for last week's rain will arrive - the cuttin' o' the grass this weekend. Thanks be to Allah for a small yard here - and a bush hog Out West.

Coffee!!!

I need a brush hog and a small tractor to mount it on. Brush on the uncleared land at the cabin needs to be managed. But, I can't see buying the tractor unless I have time to run it. My cousin down south just got a brand new red Korean tractor, 48 hp. It looks a little large for getting through the trees at my place, but I do like the tire diameter. I'm looking harder at units in the 35 - 40 hp range.

Wat's tractors are more like 20-25 horses. But they will run a 60" George Dubya B000sh-hawg. We looked at a Numbah Wun Fuckee tractor. It was nice, but I wasn't laying out that amount of green, not at that time or this.

The vet came to visit eh surviving oldest horse. The landlady was skeert that he had developed a nerve condition which would get worser quicker and likely would carry him out of here before the end of the year when he got too unsteady. Turns out he has something treatable, and he can be around for longtime GI. That'll do.

Headed off to pick up the bike soon.

Wrench says the bike is "fast as fuck" for what and where it is right now. It does want a bit more fuck, however.

On hold with a company with some exhaust system questions. The hold music? "When The Levee Breaks." How fucking cool is that???

Kitten is chewing the phone cover.

Stage two: better pipes and a "portal." Think: chip. We'll do that this winter with the body work, I reckon.

Next: a lumpier/liftier cam and a retune. So, still more fuck headed this way.

Now I gotta call the manufacturer. Oh well . . . .

Happy Saturday!!! Happy July!!! Slept okay. Even slept in a bit, which doesn't happen often.

Gonna be hot. It's July. Got several days of 90 all in a row.

It's Dr. Tyler breakfast morning. I think we'll ride.

After coffee.

Sometimes I wander out of this thread and most of the time, the result is I wonder why I wander. There's the latest old timers thread with a bunch of n000bs posting in it. That's funny. There's an older thread that popped up in my suggesteds where one poster starts a thread to blast another one and makes a list of who is acceptable and who needs a trip to a death camp, and there's a response about eliminating the divisiveness. Really? Where??!? My favorite posts are from those posting to show how much they care and tell us in windy detail how much they don't care. Clears cases of hear my words but don't watch my feet.

And we wind up waiting for Godot to come along and tell us how relevant Godot was. Last century.

It's down to a handful of you now . . . .

It's been a busy week around here, having more dirt with stuff on it means more work but there are still only 10080 minutes in a week and I do need some of those to recycle coffee.

Yesterday was supposed to be home office day, which I also use for errands, appointments and other such things, instead one of the big forklifts blew a hose and I went in to fix it only to find that there was a gasket gone as well, and since I had it apart I did more and poof, the day was gone so today was a few errands, phone calls, paperwork and whatever else I can fit in, while the minions work on their not secret suprise.

The little one is pouty. She was supposed to go camping tonight in a tent and was really excited about it but the weather peeps are saying lightning tonight with all its friends so she's staying at home. I spoke to the minions involved last night and they are setting up the basement room to surprise her with an indoor camping trip. They have wildlife and plants in the form of my tote gardens and house plants and all the toy animals they could find as well as running my printer out of ink to tape things to the walls, the tent will be 'staked' to a 2x4 frame and the fire will be a tv monitor but she'll be safe and I have no doubt there will be shenanigans. I asked about camp foods and they plan to go hunting and foraging, which means they're going to convince to be sneaky and raid my fridge, so I made a run to the farmers market and the grocery store and they are all set for whatever foods they choose to 'hunt'. It's Canada Day here and since we don't work Saturdays we are taking Monday off (it's slower than Fridays) so they can stay down there a couple of nights. I just hope they're quiet about it.

I didn't realize they had smart car hybrid prototypes that long ago, or that they could travel farther on a charge.

Still page #338. Lapua. Magnum!!! Makes my shoulder twinge just thinking about it. Glad I don't pay to feed one. I think that I'll skip it and go straight to a .375H&H. I do like my .450 B000shmaster.

I like the tending to the wee one's camping weekend. That sounds thoughtful. clever, considerate, creative, and quite loving. I hope that she has a blast.

I've been reading some weird shit this afternoon, which just goes to prove beyond a shadow that there are a shitload of godless fucked up people out there. Most of those motherfuckers could have their character improved with the application of a straight razor to their jugulars.

Go figure . . . .

My 338 WM is punishment enough on both ends. The 375 does not have the sharpness of the 338, in my opinion. Grandpa’s 300 H&H was a boost up from the ought 6 which is all you need for obtaining meat for the freezer around here. I only got the 338 for blacktail deer hunting in SE on Admiralty Is.

The damn thermometer is almost touching 80 in the shade.

The most agressive thing I have fired my 300WM at was a stationary bit of . . . stationary. I killed that bitch, too.

Off to read to the sound of the pitter patter of rain . . . .

I read a lot of dark books, I prefer thrillers and psyche novels but I will read dark romance of specific types, sadly a lot of it is junk, and I avoid splatterpunk, most horror and erotica because it's just become stupid with writers thinking dark means abuse.

I read something about mosquitos.

That's one good thing about the drought, there's practically no stagnant standing water for the to breed and grow in so they have been few and far between.

My koi pond is still under siege, but we are getting some popup thunderstorms, so maybe if we can get enough rain, they'll go away. Buddha knows that that are next to no fish left in the pond, mainly my big koi that's too big for the snakes and a couple of little $.49 cent goldfish that were supposed to be trap bait, but they figured out how to get out of the trap.

I still need to check the local weather and hope for rain. We need to get a little more wet before the fireworks start. I think the forest is dry enough to actually burn. I'll be running the sprinklers around the house with real purpose today.

Happy Sunday. Hot-n-stormy today - the wet comes later. It'll be the store run and then likely followed by a bike run. I'ma put some miles on Morticia. She's a good girl and she can handle it. I should take a wee note pad for jotting down some thingies what go through mah haid for exploration on paper later. I'ma try to do the outside bits first.

After I do the coffee bits . . . .

I use my notes app to make my grocery lists, then ignore it, forget what I need and buy what I don't.

I didn't need it after all. Got a couple of earworms instead. And the ruckus of the exhaust, which is a must-have.
