I love how the delivery companies don't think of calling Wat to tell him that shit's a'comin'. Just about got 'em trained to use trucks with lift gates and pallet jacks. Them's what ain't got 'em gets sent back, unless they happen to be brown.

Home. It's kinda hot out there. The carpenter rode all the way over to check on his tools and to tell me that he wouldn't be there until Friday. I have to look for what grab bars we need to install so we can make sure we have proper blocking, I also think we managed to forget the wall heater in the bathroom. Good thing it's now and not later.


I have no idea what supper will consist of.

Happy Thursday!!! Slept pretty well. There was a kitten messing with me at some point during the night. I guess that I was s'poseta play with her. I don't think I did.


Says it's going to 99 today. Won't that be nice?

Nice and warm here. Hit 85 yesterday! I cooked some eyetalian snasuages on the grill last night and ate out of doors. Like some kind of hippie!

It was still 72 at 4:30 this morning when I woke up. Humiddittiddy is only 50 though, so it's comfortable. I was going to ride my bike to work this morning, but there's a chance of T storms and I don't want to be caught out in the rain in my white tee shirt.

Heading to the big city (Morgantown) later today. Future sister-in-law and her wifey bought a camp site and need a man with a truck to move the camper on to it.

Speaking of... we have a camp site here called Big Bear Lake. Campers (permanent with roof-overs) and golf carts and beer and Trump flags. It's "The Villages" of West Virginia.

There's one of those Out West a couple/three miles from the state park, which doesn't allow long-term camping. These motherfuckers are cheek by jowl, a lot have roof-overs, and from what I understand, there are no vacancies. Ever. Well, maybe, in the event of fire, flood or death. And the have a lakefront, too.


Our first three sites should be up and running well before Labor Day.

Got some anvil parts next state over to go to collect tomorrow. He made me an offer I don' refuse. There's a transmission down there, too. Maybe Sunday, or maybe next weekend.

Our humidity jumped up but we're still low 80s, twenty degrees lower than we should be this time of year.
With everyone else complaining about how hot it is, I'm wondering why we're still so cold.
