TSCLT 12.0: The pantheon hates a pussy 2.0

I saw an old milk deliver truck today, the kind that used to bring the big plastic jugs or glass bottles right to your door and collect your empties. It was semi restored and brought back a few memories.

Happy Saturday!!! The josh is burning . . . .

We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.

~ Carl Jung

An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

~ Mahatma Gandhi

As human beings we have good qualities as well as bad ones. Now, anger, attachment, jealousy, hatred, are the bad side; these are the real enemy… The true troublemaker is inside.

~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama

I saw a vintage (30s?) Ford (maybe) yesterday and nearly rear-ended the truck in front of me. I don't even do that when I see a good-looking babe. You see them everywhere. A good classic car on the road, on a weekday? Rare. Very rare.

Gandhi is blind-shaming...

If you finish that saying out, wouldn't it be good for people to be "declawed?"

There are some pastries on the kitchen table calling to me and I still have some cooked bacon...

Should I add some scrambled eggs and gouda?

Had a nice chat with Junior. He will be intown for work early next week, so we'll get a chance to visit some. It's been too long already. He was at the Colorado game last week, and we talked a bit about the whole Coach Prime phenomenon. And baseball, because we do. And work.

:D

Had a busy running around but tomorrow I can house clean. It never really ends. At least tonight, we're getting together to watch some movies, that will be nice.

Oh and Wat, September has the most birthdays and Christmas day the least.

Okay. I just found it interesting that 2 of the greatest empire creators ever share a birthday.

I just bought 3 picnic tables for the development thingie.

For my next trick, I'm looking at designing the most efficient (think: built with the fewest materials) house that I can. Three bedrooms, two upstairs sharing a bath and one ADA accessible downstairs to maximize utility. Same standards for the kitchen, too.

Fortunately, the lot has a cross slope so the ramp can be shorter.

There was a guy driving a Model "T" bucket in Wasilla yesterday. He was dressed up warmly as it wasn't super nice outside. The engine looked clean, so he doesn't drive it in the rain.

Happy Sunday!!! So we've been doing the Autumn thing for about 24 hours and change here, and it's rained the entire time. Wettest Autumn evar!!! Wat blames Glowball Warming. Slept okay if not long enough. It happens. Anyway, this stuff is supposedly blowing outta here as I type this, and it may dry out a bit later today, which is Oil Change Day, too. And Shooping List day.

Got the bike to the sho(o)p yesterday - in the rain. We suspect that it's just a bad oil pressure sender that's making the light flicker. That makes as much sense as any other explanation, but we sure don't want to lunch an engine. Also, when cam upgrade time comes, the kit we're considering has an upgrade oil pump in it.

The coffee pump is working fine . . . .

It's supposed to rain today. It'll bring some leaves down. A lot of the junk trees are turning yellow, but once the oak starts turning, I will have to clean out and cover the koi pond because they are what is directly over the pond. It's still nice and green.

The Ash tree seems to be finally running out of little helicopters to bombard us with. That's good because they could turn porch-painting into a nightmare with just a little bit of wind.

I hate those helicopter thingies. Why can't they just make nuts and let the squirrels do all the legwork???

The squirrels are pretty busy here, being in an oak forest, forest dump, and all, but what surprises me in how many helicopter seeds fall underneath the bird-feeder and are left untouched. Is Ash really that nasty to eat? I like my steak fat with a little burn to it...

Home from shooping. I found some soon-to-expire good meat burger patties for cheap. Those and Ziploc bags are a single guy's goodest friends. Didn't get all that much but still spent damned near a hunyet.

The girlcat is on a tear this morning. Wonder what got into her . . . .

Blame the little one on that random birthday information, she had to make graphs and decided google was a good way to get the information rather than finding out how many of each colour is in a tub of gummy bears. Her teacher hadn't specified she actually had to use something physical so I had to go in and argue with her 'again'. The little darling is smarter than the twitch holding the chalk, I think my hussy girl is too but that's why I buy homeschool packets and supplement her learning.

Afternoon all, coffee has been had, and I'm doing things which maybe I shouldn't be doing but I'm unsupervised and pay my own bills so screw it.

There's a great deal to be said for paid bills and being unsupervised. And I agree, the wee one sounds quite intelligent. Nothing to blame in any sense of the word. Besides, Wat appreciates trivia.
