TSCLT 7.0: Hemis, Harleys, Hooters-n-Harridans

Are blueberry bushes are gangbuster!

I'm hoping the blackberry is just as good.

I also tried again to get some raspberry established.
One bush done died, but the other one is doing well.

The peppers and tomatoes are really not 'exploding' with growth.

Mater plants don't care much for wet growing seasons. They tend to blight or rot and the fruit suffers.

Maybe I should opt for one of those tunnel thingys for my garden. Lord knows, I have plenty of access to compost material.

The GB is largely compost.

Too bad more of the posters aren't . . . .

They are called High Tunnels; probably a better choice for gardeners who grow for profit. They aren't as expensive as a greenhouse, but expensive enough that I'd have trouble justifying the expense.

I just looked that up, and I'm not sure about an idea like that with the weather here and falling trees and branches.

I could get around the tree issue as I have a couple of acres of flat, clear, land. Maybe in a few yrs when I'm out living Wat by 1 day, and growing things to market, i'll have one.

The beauty of those things is you can pump them full of CO2 and dramatically increase production. :)

You'll thank us SC, when a Bezos drone is deliverin our produce to your door. :D

Gimme some engines and I'll make some CO2 for ya!!!

And some other shit, too.

I just went out and picked up a carne adovado burrito. I'll chop up some of my Hatch chile (hot) and spice it up a little.

S'ghetti for brekkies.

Leftovers, even.

Why I am doing HfD's for awhile . . . .

I'd say that assures it.

A big branch fell outta the tree under which I park the HfD when it's out.

Guess who gave up on the weather this morning and put it away early?

Talk about the will of Allah . . . .
