TSCLT 7.0: Hemis, Harleys, Hooters-n-Harridans

Good morning.
A little under the weather.
The weather for today is still under the influence of the tropical depression.

It has introduced an extremely unusual weather pattern here.
The storms are running east to west.
Thats a pretty strong low-pressure system.

Happy Saturday!!!

The southeast looks soggy. I hear drips-n-drops here.

I has bike parts, so it won't cut into riding time to install them thangs.

There's a damned lightning bug in the house. Where are the cats, and what are they doing? AOC musta told them they didn't have to . . . .

Good morning all.

Going to be loo0king at the first 90+ day of the year. I think that's a new 'late' record. So the plan is to get my running around done early and beat the heat.

Looks like it'll take a break from raining after lunch, thanks be to Allah.

Debating whether to take the bike in for a new front tire and a diagnostic evaluation, or to ride tonight.

I can't feel bad missing tomorrow based on this crappy forecast.

We'll see . . . .

^^^That pic reminds me of an old Red Skelton joke.

We get heat today and tomorrow followed by a cool down and some rain.

Might mosey out to the range tomorrow to see the grand finale of the big shoot that's been going on all week. IDPA is sorta interesting to watch.

Car guy, or car abuser?

;) ;)

I had to dig new acorns out of the pool vacuum this morning.
Too few squirrels?

I notice that one of my 'puter's is revving up the fan more than usual. Looks like I'm going to have to de-cat hair the damn thing later today. <shrug>

The Proper Party Term is "wreckers." Cats are wreckers.

And self-absorbed.

The rain is giving us some respite. There may be biking in the near future.

There be snacking and perhaps nappage sooner than that.

Just passing through.

Got a ride in, went to visit Mom, scored some stretching exercises for my fussy shoulder, and all of this while the rain cooperated. Cloudy, but that's not an issue.

Engaged in Light Snackage. The new brake light arrived USPS. May go down and install the wee beggar before the Saturday Night Crowd get-together.

Italian night . . . .

Glad you got a ride in Wat.

Got my running around done early but not as quickly as I had hoped. Virtually all of the major N-S thoroughfares were blocked off for a "Gay" parade.

My nut breakers came in but it turns out that there's not enough clearance to get even the smallest over the nut. Sooooooooooooo, if I can't get a grip on the bolt (which also presents a clearance problem) with some needle nosed vice-grips it'l be cold chisel time. And, of course, this is the very last fastener I have to deal with on this project. Not going to let that little SOB beat me.

On to sorting out a couple hundred 5.56 to decap, resize, trim, and clean for reloading.

Home. Fed. Damn, there was an early dinner out for a couple of folks' b-days. One of them is an a-hole, and he and I don't exactly see eye to eye. The invite was missed, but it wasn't missed.

As it turned out, it was two of us less popular kids, and the other happened to be whom I wanted to talk to tonight anyway, so she and I had a nice visit.

Off to read for a bit, and then to see how much rain gets dumped on us tomorrow.

And the weasels play on . . . .

Rained hard enough to make the pool to full, so today I get to deal with that.
By now, my filter sand has to be the cleanest that it has ever been.
The acorns are already big enough to choke the pool vac
so I get to get it cleaned out again and hand-pick
the acorns. Plus the leaf stems of one of my
oak trees has these big, heavy galls that
send them straight to the bottom.

Pain in the ass.

Happy Sunday!!!

Haven't checked the foreski . . . er, forecast . . . yet, but here's wagering that it calls for . . . more rain.

Oh, the complaints of the rich-n-famous and their pools. That's why they hire Pool Boys, that and to make milf pR0n. Seems to me one of O'Neill's early plays had a chauffeur who was banging the missus of the estate. Some themes never grow old, it seems.

The weather system that has been dumping on us this week is now finally
moving off to the NE. I hope there's some moisture left in it.
