Poor Bio...Sorry I missed you so you could get rid of all your anger and frustration by making fun of me....

erm hello...

sorry for interupting... so, can anyone in their 20s join this conversation?

my own way - cool, thanks...

phdbio - interesting, just today i met up with a professor of mine to discuss a project and he was complaining about how most of the students in the class are just not interested and just don't understand the things he says etc. etc. ... he told me i am the exception, but then, i guess that was due to the fact that he was talking to me right that moment...

I've had more than one professor complain about the lack of interest, particularly in the Gen-ed, core classes that students are required to take outside their major. I dunno. I can't imagine not responding in some way or another, be it paying attention at least sort of intellegently, to asking a question.

Munachi....just a silly question, but are you like tri-lingual? I like to just look to see where people on this thread post...and I saw some in German, Spanish, and of course English....I'm in awe. I barely know English...

Where you been NiceGuy?? I've been leaving my windows open so you could climb into my apartment easier....but alas....no NiceGuy...
As much as I would love to stalk you 24/7, and perhaps sneak in through that window.. my job, once again, has me away far too much.

If only stalkers could get paid...

I only know English, My. I did take some Spanish in HS. I alos don't like courses outside my majors. One of my major gripes is that I have to take 3 theology classes since I go to a Catholic university. You would think that would be optional becuase of the vairous religions on a campus. I possibly have to do a partial 5th year just cause of this. I want to finishn in four dammit!

well this particular professor was of a language class i took out of interest while most others had to - very annoying for me, i actually wanted to learn things, and they didn't, which kind of slowed down the class...

not really... my native language is german... I olnly learned English and Spanish in later life by living in the US and in South America for a while...

Interesting... Here hardly anyone has to take classes of subjects they don't study... Except sometimes language classes I guess because you are required to know two modern languages when you finish university... The problem though are the courses of subjects you study, that you still don't find interesting... i had a few of those and had to fight to stay awake during class...

LOL....so certain girls shouldn't wear panties is that what you're saying HC??? What classifies a non-panty wearing woman might I ask??? ;)

Wow, and today's question puts me straight in the corner.

Hmm... well, I don't think there really is a classification. I guess I'm saying you're one of them who doesn't need to wear panties, I guess because I, MYSELF, think your body is just too gorgeous to be wearing such constricting clothing... unless of course your panties happen to be snug and comfy, in which case, it's fine by me. If I could have you, I guess I'd take you any way I could get you. ;)

The idea of a liberal arts education is a good one if students are motivated and want to learn univerally. The idea of the universal man is sadly dying however. If the students that came to university wanted to learn it would make teaching a blast. The european system where you study your coursework and nothing else is tempting to american universities because students are loosing interest in this idea of being knowledgeable at least proficent in more than one area. Students today want a trade school where they go in learn a skill set and graduate....It is frustrating that universities lower their standerds to allow greater access to some students that shouldn't be here in the first place..i had a girl in my class tell me and the rest of the class that she wouldn't be able to finish a composition because she "don't read to good." Is that who should be in University???

Sorry there is my soap box for today.

hm... well here to go to university we need a specific school graduation, so we are supposed to get all the general education during that time. well if we are lucky enough to go to a good school... But one thing it ensures I guess is that only people that are somewhat interested in learning will manage to get this graduation (as it means three extra years of school, and as of course someone who can't write well for example just wouldn't pass), so supposedly only those get to university - the problem is there are still lots of people that go to university for lack of a better idea what to do... and it is very easy to slack in uni here, because there is very little control...

But I think a certain general education is important...

Yes, now what guy wouldn't love it if a gorgeous woman like you were to lean over a table on a date and whisper, "I'm not wearing panties tonight."?

Personally, if I had to think about it when a woman says that to me, I would say they was giving me an offer. :D

New subject: It snowed in NYC last night, but it doesn't look like it. I swear if is snows in April, I'm writng a letter to Mother Nature!

It didn't snow last night here in Ohio, but it was more like freezing rain. Felt a bit like ice.

And you're right, w/ or w/out panties, MyOwn IS sexy.

LOL...guys you're making me blush!!! But thank you very much. It's so nice to know you think I'm sexy.

No snow here in Georgia....sorry. But the pollen is killing me. I'd almost rather have snow...then maybe I could breath through my nose....
