LOL....well I suppose he needs to be kept into line by someone....

Wow. a whole page gone by since my last post... I'm slackin' =/

Just got home from a very long, very boring day at work =P

How is everyone tonight?

Work was short and busy as hell. Customers were killing me tonight. I must've had like 3 $200 orders in a row, followed by a $500 order, then another 2 or 3 ranges of $150 to $200.

Damn the holidays!!!

I've been home since 11:30. I just got done watching Flight of the Phoenix. That was a great movie, BTW. Also, a few songs were just great too. Matter of fact, the song "I've been everywhere, man." is a song I've heard a friend of mine sing. Can't think for sure if it's country/blue grass though, because that's what he mostly sings.

Now I'm just checking posts and realized that I've missed out a few pages on this thread myself. Looks like MyOwn is having problems deciding the guy she should really have. LOL

Anyhow, I'm off to playing StarCraft and then probably to bed. Laters!

Johnny Cash recorded a version of the song

hi... well i suppose it is still quite early in the day where you all are, and you are busy having a life instead of being in the internet (like me)...

I've been trying to read this Programming Logic and Design textbook and I'm not having a good time understanding most of it. I asked the instructor at one time and she pretty much told me to read the chapter. And I don't want to bother trying to ask again because I just get the feeling she's going to tell me to read the chapter again.

Personally, I'd do a whole lot better with Programming if we were doing programming. Apparently, the college requires us to take a course that is supposed to give a general knowledge of programming language.

Slow night on Lit. College b-ball sucks. Nothing to do, but schoolwork. Yuck!

what is college b-ball?

ah, i should still write several papers but i can't get myself to concentrate on it... anyone want to write them for me? but researching for them i found an interesting essay about how people chose their native tongue... which unfortunately is not what my paper is about so once again i ended up reading something and did not proceed with my paper...

College B-ball is College Basketball. I know colleges have a baseball team, but I'm not aware of them being broadcasted like basketball is.

I just got off work and I need to head to bed soon because I have to get up early tomorrow and go to work. Tomorrow's easter, and I won't be able to get together with the family.

oh i see... well we don't tend to have big college sport teams here... i think there is some sport somewhere, but more just for a hobby... anyway, happy easter...

I love Flight of the Phoenix! Great movie. Seems I always like the movies that the critics pan...I think they're all looking for some life alterning film...when all i want is Dennis Quaid with his shirt of and something that will make me laugh. Thanks for reminding me about the music HC...been looking for some new stuff to download...

As for picking a man...who says I have to pick just one??

I do that ALL the time, find interesting information that sucks me in but has absolutly nothing to do with my paper. It's terrible.

Well... I'm certainly no Dennis Quaid. I'd love to be able to take my shirt off in front of the ladies and feel great, but that's a work in progress and may take longer than I hope for.

Another good song I would recommend is from the movie Ladder 49 called "Down on Me". It's more of a slow song, but it's great nevertheless.

As for the picking, it was just a thought, but you don't have to pick any ONE person. However, I was only looking at the humor of the situation. I was going to post some other things, but I'll just not spoil the good mood anymore than I probably did.

well at least finally i am done reading that article that interested me so much (easter interfered so it took a while), so if it wasn't for the internet i could now concentrate on my paper again...

Loved having Easter m,onday. I don't get another off day till finals. Time to go into the home stretch!

Hello all twenty-somethings... now that I'm into my twenties, it just seems like pretty much normal to me... except that I look at all the people graduating from high school and is it just me, or are they getting younger and younger every year?

they would be about 18, wouldn't they?

my little brother is 18 now, and i must definitely say they are much younger than 18 year olds were back when i was 18... i am pretty sure i was much more mature...

I graduated as one of the oldest of my class. I was 19 when I graduated. I started school a year later than I would have.

Yeah, entering your 20's is no different than entering your teens. It's just a number. The only changes that happen are your maturity, intelligence (or ability to think), appearance, and the fact that you're entering the adult world, a world full of responsibilities. Another thing that DOESN'T change is that you will always have to make choices and the right or wrong choice is entirely up to you to make.

I was 20 when I graduated, almost 21 when I started university... But well, we have 13 years of school and I repeated one for having been abroad...
