I'm actually really happy where I am at this point in my life as weird as it sounds. I enjoy my jobs, I enjoy my apartment, I enjoy being able to travel.
Im enjoying life while I'm still alive.
I suppose if you have time to enjoy it

35chapters of materials + 7 labs in 4 weeks is not what I'd call enjoyable
then theres my other course

so if you've having fun have enough for me while you're at it!
please ;-;

Imagine how LESS stressful it will be for me when I finally sit down and decide what I want to do with the rest of my life career-wise and actually focus on the classes for the degree.

Dad once told me to only work because I want to work and not because I have to. Well, right now I am working because I have to work. Soon as I figure out what I want to do with my life, then I'll work because I want to work.

I want to be a writer, play video games all day, and at the same time I have always wanted to be a cop, but unfortunately, I can't do field work. So.. I was thinking of looking into other areas of law enforcement such as law, CSI labwork, etc... and I have to say I would really enjoy CSI type work more than being a lawyer. I'm gonna try to look at a few degree programs in CSI related work and see what I like... otherwise, I'll just go back to focusing on being a full-time writer and take the courses to become one in both a professional and personal (books, novels, etc) status.

Hope all is well so far. Laters!
Be careful! they say a CSI burns out in about or less then 2 years! and that's after you get through school....

i'm not twentysomething yet but hey.... i'm in college and desided that i should probably start acting like 'grown-up' (i act my shoesize around my friends most of the time lol) even though i'm 18 i've always been more grown up mentally than i should be.... (mother died from drug abuse when i was 10 and before that i took care of myself mostly, then i moved in with my dad and took care of myself mostly he's an alcoholic) so.... maybe i don't belong here? do i have to wait two years?

i say you don't have to wait to hang out. and being in a related field of doing lots of molecular genetics and the sort i will let you know that burning out is a real problem and the schools have been flooded with applications because of a TV show that does a poor job of portraying what really goes on.

lol
can't do that
even taking 4 hours to play around everyday is to much time off

we just got out feedback questionare today before the final
pretty much everybuddy is unsatisfied with our instructor

in every respect
so we shall see what happens when HR gets what... 32(pretty much the whole student body of this course) reports of the teacher being a douche :D

Don't worry, just because I enjoy the CSI show doesn't mean I believe the show is real... as in the words, the procedures, etc... However, I've decided since I enjoy writing a lot, I will hopefully be going to University of Miami in Oxford, OH next fall to start. I'm looking to major in English/Creative Writing and minor in Music Composition.

As for today, I was hoping to get a 2nd shift or 3rd shift job, but I ended up taking a 1st shift job because I'd rather be making money than waiting to see if an opening comes up, which is likely not to happen anytime in the near future. So, starting tomorrow morning at 6 AM, I will be working at the Whirlpool factory that is only 15 minutes drive from here. Which is really a good thing. However, my only problems are: 1. I have to go to California before Xmas this year, but since my job is only a temporary job, it's going to be until beginning of January. Secondly, for somebody who doesn't have access to a snowplow or Bobcat equipment, getting up at 3 AM in the morning to shovel snow from the driveway before work is NOT my idea of fun.

I'm hoping thought maybe I'll figure something out in time for the California trip. And if I don't find a way to do the trip, I'll at least know I have lots of money saved up for when I need it. lol

Good luck! and if creative writing teachers say your writing sucks, don't listen! this happened to a friend of mine and he was going to throw himself off the roof.... though i suppose it wouldn't be a very big loss.... he's a jackass but a good writer....

i have second shift at a Taco place so *shrug* i don't get home until anywhere from 11 to 3 depending on the day lol it sucks.... i don't want snow it's a 45 minute drive as is to school...... so i feel your pain.... new england really sucks in winter when it comes to ice....

I'll wonder back in to the topic. I hardly come by Lit anymore. Need to come back more. School is getting stressful and my mom annoying me with all of her errands. *sighs* time to head to class.

I'm a twenty-something! Loving it.

Can't quite believe that I'm half way through the decade, though. Those five years went fast.

as far as i can see right now, the next five seem to go even faster...

Stop that, this instant.

It does not go even faster, it does not go even faster, it does not go even faster....that's what I tell myself. With my fingers in my ears.

Although, really, I'm kind of looking forward to being 28 or 29, financially secure, married but childless, in a rewarding job - a proper grown up.

Most of us actually have to keep dreaming... however, maybe by then I will have a degree that will be useful and perhaps I'll have found that special woman I plan to live the rest of my life with, possibly have kids with in the future, and too be financially secure... to an extent while paying off bills which I only hope will be a minority.

I'm 25, I'll be extremely impressed with myself if I'm married and financially secure before my 30's :)

I would like to be next in line for answers to all those questions.

Well I think I should be able to make that by the time I'm 30 easily. The marriage and whole grown up thing, that's the questionable part.

marriage is something I've never really beleaved in
why do you need a piece of paper and a contract to show your love?

as for the growing up part, I think I've got that part down
mostly from the "you're ONLY 19?" questions I keep getting asked every other day

I hope it all works out for ya though :)
