marriage is something I've never really beleaved in
why do you need a piece of paper and a contract to show your love?

as for the growing up part, I think I've got that part down
mostly from the "you're ONLY 19?" questions I keep getting asked every other day

I believe in marriage wholeheartedly, but that's doesn't mean I will get married. Growing up, I've always been mature for my age, that's not the issue. The issue is looking like I'm still 19 or 16 actually and getting people to take you seriously, especially men in power. I've done it but it's a constant battle.

I've the opposite problem

people respect me untill they find out I'm only 19
I dont like people judge other people for their age, so I try not to; however, there are lines. especialy with children and the old
ignorance and dimentia kinda play with maturity

if I go for all my certs I could be up around 100k
takes time to get the certs though
I want to take some time of school

might go in for my degree

Something I've always wondered about: is the plural of octopus 'octopusses' or 'octopi'?

Interesting. I can't imagine that a person exists who doesn't know what an octopus looks like...

I've often wondered that about dictionaries. I know it's just for a sense of completeness, but do you think anybody's ever looked up the word 'dog' or 'table' or 'man'?

Wow, either I was in bed or I was working... either way, I missed a convo.

For starters, people don't think I'm 23. They think I'm 16 or 18 because I still look young. I guess you could say I sort of have one of those "baby faces".

Secondly, if only this current job I'm working at wasn't temporary, I'd be getting some seriously good pay and could do my writing on the side until I actually get an interested party or parties into publishing my work.

Thirdly, I am not sure whether I am for or against marriage. I agree that marriage is a paper with signatures for the press to get ahold of to let people know you're married. Plus, I hear problems can get worse in the relationship after you're married.

Nevertheless, as I said, I hope to find that special woman I want to spend my life with.

For now, I gotta run. Have a few friends to visit before I go to bed. Laters!

well, it is a learner's dictionary... so, while it explains what an octopus or a dog or a table is, that can still be difficult to understand for someone learning english. i suppose. then again, no pictures for words such as "justice" or "picaresque novel"...
