I'll let you know. It IS fun to see them IMMEDIATELY. Though somepeople still have dial-up and it makes the page load s-l-o-w-l-y (not ME!! luckily)

They are all of different sizes and detail...Ideally all would be shown to the maximum effect that was intended.

at least THIS way they are reduced to a similar (if lower) common denominator...?

of course Patty's observation on people-laziness and statistical analysis...middles may get short changed... Incentive to send in soon? A minor edge for speed?

MAYBE...since poll is limited to 10...that entries close with first 10...?
:(

though I would be happy to accept PM votes if entries exceed 10 pieces..the more the better I say!

I'd be happy to vote PM if the entries exceed 10, which i reckon will happen very quickly as popularity increases in the contests.

I think for now, just leave the pics as they are, but you do have an option in imagevenue to have them come up as thumbnails which you can click to full size pics to help out people with dialup speeds.

Also if people want a full sized pic of any of the entries, maybe at the artists choice they can email it out if they are comfortable with it.

Great Job Dark-Glasses~

all the entries are excellent artistic views of the word, "Pink"
I liked them all!

as for the first ten entrys.
the poem contest awaits the entries, if they are say, (12) entires they make two polls of 6 each. the winners of the two are combined for a run off of the winners from each poll. Just an idea.

I look forward to the next art challenge <grin

Back after a hard day of work ...

I'm pretty torn between this batch of entries. I keep gravitating back to #1, I think that one has a great deal of marketability due to its simplicity. But they're all good pieces. I'll vote later. I'm torn between several right now.

Nice work everyone. :rose:

Aww crap, I usually go by the first image that really jumps out at me, so what the hell do I do when they all do, I'll have to sleep on this one, great ART.

Wonderful Job Guys!! As others have said it was a tough choice. If Patty's entry had actually been included in the contest that would have been my pick. Hmm.....Guessing I'll come back tomorrow to vote.

Okay so I voted, but have to appologise to DG for not getting mine in on time!

I am publicly admitting my stupidity when it comes to this frigging Photoshop shit!
Why is it I can graduate Highschool, college x2 , be a parent (which in most cases doesnt take brains!) and pay taxes , yet, cant work this damn program!

My idea was, I googled the pink panther, found a little rubber toy version of him that I wanted to cut and paste onto a picture of a woman with her legs spread apart, using the toy as a "toy".

Could I accomplish this, no, so I tried to draw it out, no time, I have to draw when no one is around to distract me, this weekend was no weekend for this!

You guys did an excellent job, proud of you all!
C

Attaching the two pictures, was trying to remove the lady's face and filling in with back ground colour to replace, any takers?

10:37am est.

copy each image. and past into separate layers (i generally duplicate original layers as a safeguard). Panther superior (layer on top). then create new Path..and darw an outline (not required could just erase...but give some control). then select out line by command clicking on outline in pathes window.... then select INVERSE (under "select" menu) and delete< this removes background and shadow. HA dthere been no shadow...could have just selceted with magic wand and deleted.

Then...in lower (crotch layer) used rubber stamp tool to duplicat near labia as the far one..and begin obscuring the cunninglinguisticwoman....use rubber stamp some more to extend far thigh..etc... also the finger smudge tool to blend a bit.

back to panther...rotated to approximate angle of insertion....and erased his lower half. Then worke dthe pelvis some more where it was still visible.

Back to panther I laso'd his right arm (on our left) cut and pasted...repositioned and merged down....then used the simplistic layer effect of drop shadow... more accurate to draw your own on a separate layer, but I was working fast.

flattened all and saved for web.

Excellent job Dark glasses :)

But coming from a woman's perspective don't you think the panther would be more comfortable head first? He's got some big ol' feet!

;)

Why exactly did I think that if I got a little sleep my mind would be clearer and I'd be able to decide between the two that were on my mind?

Great job, not to be siding with either of you but head first would be more comfortable. My idea was to lay it along the top of labia pointing to her clitoris. His head on the Clit. His feet in her hand. Why is it so hard for me to do, Need more highlights!

OMG, 15mins, thats such a quickie!

It would take me hours to figure it out!
It was a neat idea wasnt it though?

Thank you

Y'all who've said sweet things about my 'un entered' piece. Thank you! :rose:

yes...truly. a good idea.

Maybe I should just be the idea person, someone else can do the work? lol
How did it turn out, or were you able to work on it at all?

I did take an adobe photoshop elements course just a month ago, the guy that taught it, well, was just a kid. Not that being young was a problem, but he taught it like you should know what you are doing before you started.

When I growd up I want to be Dark Glasses- Oh please oh pleaseeee!!!!

I just saw something kind of fun and interesting. The AHers have contests going on that are a lot like our art contests. Themes, limited time, limited number of words, voting ... at least, if I'm reading it correctly that's what it is ...

Pretty ingenius. I wonder who thinks this shit up.

Was just wondering when this contest finishes up, and what happens after this, do we just go back and keep our attention to the other contest?
