VA friends

Hi everyone! Speaking only for myself, as a female
from a bordering VA state...I think most keep their location secret for safety reasons. Maybe I’ve watched/read/listened to too much true crime, but it’s not always safe for women in the real world or online. We often have to take way more precautions than men when talking to anyone new.
Just some insight into the whimsical maze of the female mind. 😊 Happy Friday!

I totally get that. It's not just women, either. I'm always reluctant to give more than my general location (state, usually).

Have you ever met or talked to a real woman from friend finder? Just curious.

I saw this thread pop up again in 2022, and since it's a new year, I thought it would be good to at least try to get this thread going again. In my opinion, the problem with both the VA & MD threads is that just posting location or area code doesn't lead to a very interesting discussion thread.

I was intrigued by StarGazer's question from October -- and since it's been a few months since he posted, I thought I would try to kick off the discussion with a somewhat thoughtful reply. I have met three people off the Lit board over the course of about a decade. It's not something that happens frequently, but it does happen, and I've seen other people post their experiences.

There's a hilarious (or sad -- depending upon your perspective) thread about someone searching to re-connect with a one night stand from a decade ago floating around one of these boards. My impression is that most people are here to escape from their daily lives -- and most don't seem to want to cross the boundary.

So -- does anyone have another opinion?

I have met 4. One of whom I formed a long term relationship last lasted a couple of years.

I would have to agree with mind seduction in this. I'm in 540...and the ladies are spectacular... that's why I've stayed here for 24 years.
