Considering making an original killer Vampire thread loosely based off of Angelus, Darla, Spike, and Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer set in modern day. Maybe blended with Bram Stokers dracula.

Will probably offer Last Rider the other male part once I figure out more about plot direction, but would need one or two ladies willing to keep up with the two of us.

Hey there. I'm doing well. You? Seems late on your end... Thought you'd have disappeared by now.

I have another thirty minutes or so before I'll need to head to bed.

So what brings you to my little filing cabinet of ideas?

I wanted to bounce an idea off of you. I have a beginning, but I have no idea where it would go, or where to proceed. I was hoping you'd spare the time and take a look

First off some questions. What is this story's setting?

I mean it could easily be post-apocalyptic, or Scifi, noir, or fantasy. It's the first thing you need to make clear.

Post -apocalyptic. I'd like to say this is after The Great War. Perhaps a series of nuclear exchanges have made large parts of the world uninhabitable, the government non existent.

Okay, next question...Is this a non-consent SRP or more of a standard romance SRP?

 

[VampiricTouch]

Either or. I don't have a preference. If the plot line can be structured for a standard romance, I'd be curious to try writing that role. But that's from curiosity stand point.

I believe my thirty minutes with you is up? Should I let you go sleep and we continue the discussion another time?

Well, I think that may be the problem, VT. You can't decide what you want from the story so you can't decide where it should go.

Let's try a run down on both angles first:

Non consent-the male RPer would play the business man asshole black marketeer, and the thread would center upon the debasements and abuse he heaps upon Anya

Standard Romance SRP-The Male RPer would be an outsider that rescues her. With the black marketeer asshole would be the bad guy. One of the first complications would be that rescuing Anya would automatically place her settlement at risk of retalliation by the black marketeer's gang.

I like the second romance concept. And you're right. I don't know what I want out of this.

Yeah the second sounds like a kinda post-apocalyptic action-adventure romance. Much more interesting. (Though non-consent's not really my thing, so bias may be speaking there).

I like the conflict that's inherent in a non-consent. But thats because general romance stories lack a villain to offset the story and put it into prospective. I think as far as story goes a romance concept would be better... And I believe it is well past your bed time.

Pic for the inspiration of a thread idea based off of the TV show Angel's evil lawfirm: Wolfram and Hart.
I'd play a junior lawyer, trying to make it up the ladder at Wolfram and Hart without sacrificing too much of his humanity. Unfortunately its time for a visit from a VIP from the firm's home office (Hell FYI) who is coming to the LA branch to host a seminar on interdepartment communication and trust building. The woman in the pic above, who happens to be a succubus.
I'm selected to be this VIP's liason, escort, and well...expendable sacrificial lamb/meal while she's visiting LA.
