That's Joss Whedon for ya. Killing of characters we love.

But he always makes it mean something to the other characters. And that should be said. It hit me harder when they killed off Fred in Angel than when Wash died, but I loved Amy Acker's performance as Illyria and Alexis Denisof's performances in relation to the death of Fred and his scenes with Illyria.

I don't mind killing off characters as much as long as it means something or affects the other characters for better drama.

Still sad.

Do you think there are insurance companies in Metropolis that will not cover damage caused by Superman?

He doesn't cause all that much damage. The only time he really did that I can think of off the top of my head is when he fought Doomsday when he trashed large chunks of Metropolis.

The real insurance offender would be the Hulk.

I had a thought what would the detectives criminal profilers and forensics people be like in Gotham's police taskforce to catch the batman. Think about all the batarangs and coils of rope tied around the penguin's goons does he leave behind. Real high tech and top of the line stuff too. How long before they figure out that stuff is coming from Wayne Ent. and how long until they start asking uncomfortable questions of Lucius Fox and Bruce Wayne.

I mean there's only so much interference Gordon can run on something like that before revealing his partnership with the Batman.

Not a problem. Make yourself comfortable, please. I assume you wish to sit and observe us in our natural habitat. Like Jane Goodall and the gorrillas in the mist.

Well to that end...

I have a question for those that know even more about Dr. Who lore than I do. Someone told me once that the Doctor has a limited number of regenerations and if John Hurt was one of them (assumedly between Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston during the timewar) that the doctor after Matt Smith will be the final one...My question is: Is that true?
