Wardens of Wildemount ((OOC))

Oh I shipped Perchalia so hard. Don't get me wrong I loved Vaxleth too, but Percy and Vex was just right to me.

Aww man. You've been to two of the liveshows. I have nerd jealousy now. I was thinking of going up to Indy for Gencon (once the world settles back down of course) to catch the show they do there every year.

Yes, the shows I saw were at Gencon and absolutely worth going to when they're able to start them up again. Absolutely thrilling.

Verity could be a College of Glamour bard which ought to have a sufficiently different feel until such time as she'd have a reason to multiclass?

Yeah that could work. Any idea what she'd multiclass into? Just wondering how we'd work that into the plot.

Might multiclass still not sure. Possibly an Artificer Alchemist. Depends on level though

According to the Player's Handbook, both Halflings and Gnomes stand at about 3 feet tall and weigh 40-45 pounds, on average.

I have finished picking my spells and abilities! :D

Since my character is serving a goddess of law and peace, I went with very few combat spells. There are lot of spells here that are based on avoiding fights and I think would work very well in role play. Here's what I have.

Name: Diva’ss
Alignment: lawful neutral
Warlock, pact of the Celestial, Pact of the Tome
race: Verdan
level 7, for now

Background: Acolyte
Feature: Shelter of the Faithful
As an acolyte, you command the respect of those who share your faith, and you can perform the religious ceremonies of your deity. You and your adventuring companions can expect to receive free healing and care at a temple, shrine, or other established presence of your faith, though you must provide any material components needed for spells. Those who share your religion will support you (but only you) at a modest lifestyle.

You might also have ties to a specific temple dedicated to your chosen deity or pantheon, and you have a residence there. This could be the temple where you used to serve, if you remain on good terms with it, or a temple where you have found a new home. While near your temple, you can call upon the priests for assistance, provided the assistance you ask for is not hazardous and you remain in good standing with your temple.

As a Verdan I have the fallowing powers:

Black Blood Healing. The black blood that is a sign of your people’s connection to That-Which-Endures boots your natural healing. When you roll a 1 or 2 on any Hit Die you spend at the end of a short rest, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll.

Limited Telepathy. You can telepathically speak to any creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You don’t need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathy, but it must be able to understand at least one language. This process of communication is slow and limited, allowing you to transmit and receive only simple ideas and straightforward concepts.

Telepathic Insight. Your mind’s connection to the world around you strengthens your will. You have advantage on all Wisdom and Charisma saving throws.

-

Languages: Common, goblin, celestial, undercommon, abyssal

Skills I'm proficient in: Arcana, Religion, Persuasion, Deception, Insight

As a celestial warlock I have the added powers:

Healing Light
At 1st level, you gain the ability to channel celestial energy to heal wounds. You have a pool of d6s that you spend to fuel this healing. The number of dice in the pool equals 1 + your warlock level.
As a bonus action, you can heal one creature you can see within 60 feet of you, spending dice from the pool. The maximum number of dice you can spend at once equals your Charisma modifier (minimum of one die). Roll the dice you spend, add them together, and restore a number of hit points equal to the total.
Your pool regains all expended dice when you finish a long rest.

Radiant Soul
Starting at 6th level, your link to the Celestial allows you to serve as a conduit for radiant energy. You have resistance to radiant damage, and when you cast a spell that deals radiant or fire damage, you add your Charisma modifier to one radiant or fire damage roll of that spell against one of its targets.

-

Cantrips: Light, Sacred Flame, Mage Hand, Minor Illusion, Guidance, Eldritch Blast, mind sliver, Friends

Spells known, can only cast 2 at 4th level: Banishment, Remove Curse, Fast Friends, Wall Of Fire, Revivify, lesser restoration, guiding bolt, Summon Undead

Eldritch Invocations:

Eldritch Mind: Advantage on con saves for keeping concentration

Repelling Blast: When you use eldritch blast you can push a creature 10 feet away in a straight line.

Mask of Many Faces: You can cast disguise self at will, without expanding a spell slot.

Agonizing Blast: Add your charisma modifier to the damage done with eldritch blast.

Feat: Actor

Skilled at mimicry and dramatics, you gain the following benefits:
• Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You have an advantage on Charisma (Deception) and Charisma (Performance) checks when trying to pass yourself off as a different person.
• You can mimic the speech of another person or the sounds made by other creatures. You must have heard the person speaking, or heard the creature make the sound, for at least 1 minute. A successful Wisdom (Insight) check contested by your Charisma (Deception) check allows a listener to determine that the effect is faked.

My mind set here is by mixing actor and mask of many faces I can pretty much pretend to be anyone.

Yes, I do always go all out, thank you very much. :D

Ooo she is pretty, Bet Priscilla can see up her skirt ;):)

She would not be the first.

Ah, and to catch a second bird with this stone, if she *were* to multiclass - her reqs currently aren't great for many other builds, so she might pick up a cutlass and learn sword fighting as a fighter. Depends, I think, if she's encouraged or dissuaded to do that with the activities of the group.
