Did anyone go down to the party at the tunnel opening? I am still debating if I want to drive through it, lol. I have to go to Olympia next Sunday so thinking if I do it will be then since traffic should be lighter. It will be interesting to see what it will look like downtown around that area in a few years.

Viaduct

Dunno about the tunnel grand opening, but the last day of the viaduct was a blast. Like the block party you remember from your youth. I rode the bike and hung out with a bunch of friends. No need to park or fight through traffic though, which would have been mayhem.

So what's this I hear about snow in the lowlands???

Well that is the same thing I was talking about closing or opening but it sounds like it was a fun time. They are saying maybe some snow here and there. Really does not sound like it will be much besides being cold which could lead to icy roads.

I'm not going anywhere and it's 62 in the house. My baseboard heat is highly ineffective. I might have to turn on the bedroom heat and I rarely do that.

My poor gardener is outside, helping people who are getting stuck in the snow. No plow on our street but most everything out this way is shut down. So far less traffic than usual.
