washington peeps

Holy crap! I take back what I said. Just spun my chair around to get up and tons of huge white flakes are falling.

Sure coming down now.

Just got home a bit ago, 4" on the ground here and still coming down hard.

No plans to go anywhere any time soon.

It's coming down like made here. I didn't measure but several inches at least.

Hi Pussywillow. get ahold of me again please. I sent you pm but you inbox is full, it needs emptied so I can get ahold of you.

I think we got about 4 inches on my hill here in Lynnwood. Tomorrow morning will be icy so be careful for those of you who venture out.

Hard to really measure since the last snow didn't melt but people around me say 6-7". Did you see the thing on weather.com? We got more snow in a day than we normally get in a year!

Yep. Well below freezing for the next 10 days and snow to boot! If only there were plows. :(

Well there never will be enough in this area for this amount of snow. They will never spend enough money to cover the need for our rare snowfalls. Going to take up sledding for future snow events, there are enough hill to make my way around the area, lol.

So you don't need a dedicated snow plow fleet but there should be some kind of emergency action plan. Thinking of the Cajun navy, why not enlist a bunch of trucks and pay for a front end plow attachment, you get this and $50 per hour of plowing if we activate to keep the streets clear.

I do enjoy sledding... but walking back up the hills kinda takes the fun out of it. Hot chocolate after being out in it for a while makes anything in the snow fun.

Yes some type of back-up plan would be a plus, too bad there is none right now.

There never is here. We're in a state of emergency. So let's all freak. Some individuals are out there helping but our government isn't.
