The part that got him was resisting. When exorcising your permit to carry you agree to act in a lawful manner. Being notified you have crossed the protest line and resisting arrest are both opposite of lawful while carrying or not.

Repeating myself. Minnesota laws requires that the permit holder have BOTH the permit and a valid ID in their possession while carrying a firearm. It is reported the room temperature fuck had neither thus making his carry illegal under state law.
