Crooked Tree
Crooked Tree by Molly Tuttle. Forgot to link the video on my previous post. She’s an amazing young artist. World class flat picker, beautiful voice, and fantastic song writer. Many of the songs she writes are inspired by her own life experiences. This one is about what it’s like to be different. A crooked tree won’t fit in a mill machine so they’re left behind when forests are harvested. She relates to crooked trees and feels glad to be like one.

She was diagnosed at age 3 with an autoimmune disease that attacks hair follicles. It might be difficult growing up with no hair as a child and teenager dealing with at school when some kids can mean and cruel. Instead, she thrived and is thankful to be who and what she is.
