Liberal use of the ignore button is going to be my friend from now on. I used to not like to put people on ignore because I didn't want to be mean, but now I think it's going to be the best thing for my sanity here, so that I don't have to feel angry and upset all the time.

Very, very accurate. I'd been on it for about 20 years--originally when I was exploring my sexuality as a college student. I feel it's gotten a lot worse since then. There are so many blatant misogynists there, and other argumentative, unpleasant sorts. Not everyone there is bad--obviously I got something from it when I was there a lot. But the quality of the chat has decreased a lot. Sometimes I am afraid of going into some of the rooms and making myself known.

In picking between 2 jobs that pay really well. 1 is a growing company, but then I have to return to the office (I've been remote for 7 years), the other is a unknown company and I get to work remote. Ahhhh
