Yesterday was a bit sad day. Someone who I had been talking to almost everyday when he came in for his for treatments passed away. Last time he came in was on a Tuesday .K had been on and off with us for years, he was English. I can still remember his voice distinctly saying ‘Hello Love!’ To me when he would see me, it’s so weird that someone you exchanged pleasantries with and small chat for a considerable time just stops exciting one day. I feel for his wife too who I much later discovered was the OT that helped me with my plantar fasciitis.

I'm finally wearing a pair of very thick, warm, and fluffy socks that I bought back in the fall for cold weather. They're almost like house footies or calf-length slippers. My feet have been in tootsie heaven all day. Almost makes up for this stupid cold.
