Go with what you know with 100% certainty about the relationship. Feed the anxiety facts and knowledge as much as you can.

Apparently Robert Carlyle was short-listed to play the 11th Doctor, but lost out when showrunner Russell T Davies found out Carlyle was guest-starring and directing ONE episode of Stargate Universe. Apparently the world lost out on what would have been an incredible iteration of the Doctor because Davies dislikes Stargate?! (I loved Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor too, but also would have loved to see what Carlyle would have brought to the character)

Oh wow! He would've been awesome as the Doctor! I really enjoyed him in Stargate Universe too.

I also enjoy Matt Smith's doctor but it took me some time to get into his protrayl after my absolute favorite in David Tennant.

Yeah, Tennant was definitely a tough act to follow, but loved some of the Smith storylines, especially with Amy, Rory and River, and that Stonehenge speech was iconic! Carlyle was so fun to watch as Rumplestiltskin in Once Upon a Time. I’ve always thought those who play The Doctor require a bit of madness and bravado, and he has that in spades!
