Nat Geo has been running this series called Brain Games. The fact that I suck at most of the experiments hasn't done a thing to lessen my fascination.

I recently watched both House of Lies and Homeland. They're both fantastic programs from Showtime.
House of Lies is very well-written and acted, although I could do without the superfluous swearing. Homeland features Claire Danes; it's fun to see how she's grown from her younger years on My So Called Life. If you like Covert Affairs and other shows about the CIA/spies/politics, Homeland is a good bet.
This summer, my guilty pleasure was The Real L Word. OK, maybe it's not as "real" as it proclaims, but there was more of a variety of than the scripted version, and the f/f sex was smokin' hot!
On the scripted side, I've found The Client List. I'm not typically a fan of Lifetime shows or Jennifer Love Hewitt, but this one is appealing for some reason.

It has to be one of the most well written shows I've ever watched and I'm sad that it's ending now but it's been a hell of a ride! Enjoy!!!

I've watched every season so far. This season looks interesting with the loved ones playing too. Poor Gervase still can't swim.

I really like Monica Culpepper and hope she wins this time! Her husband took charge of the other camp REALLY quick and looks like a REALLY strong player, but I suspect that will get him voted out REALLY quick too.

Yes, I think if the man alliance on that tribe vote out all the women first, he will be the first one to go based on the way the other men were looking at him. He needs a better filter on what he says to people.

Well, besides ML baseball and mainly, Saints games .....
I tend to "surf" thru the channels when I'm bored and have the time. The only shows I do actually follow have been "The Walking Dead", which I'm absolutely addicted to, and "The Bridge". On Monday nights, if I can, I watch the first 10 or 15 minutes of "The Tonight Show", just to see the "Headlines", and then surf, or turn the TV off. Oh, and when I can, I watch "Democracy Now", and Rachel Maddow. Damn, I watch more than I thought I did! Alright, "The Big Bang Theory" is good for a laugh, and I suppose I've spent some time watching "Adult Swim", late at night. Damn, I have to get a life!
