What feeds your soul?

Laughing, huh?
OK, never mind then... I think I'll change my answer to holding a straight flush at a no-limit poker table. :D

How many times have you played poker since we've been together? And how many times have you won since then?

Face it, buddy, you're pussy whipped.

:nana: Laughing at you more :nana:

<giggles>
I've played a few times, certainly not many! I would guess in the last two months, about as much as I used to play in a week.

How many times have I won? Let's just go by the old expression, "Lucky at love, unlucky at cards". I haven't won a single tournament since we've been together, which is... well, improbable.

Pussy whipped? Hmmm... dunno, but might agree to saldne whipped. :D

I'm in love, what can I say? :nana:

But go ahead, make fun of me for it, I don't care. I love to see you with a smile on your face, and I adore your laugh.

WFMS - that the person I view as my closest friend had her baby yesterday.......... and I was the first and only person she called. She told me her husband could ring everyone else, but she wanted to be the one to share it with me........... it's amazing how something so simple can make you feel so good! :D

knowing that spring is just around the corner.....

so looking forward to putting the soft top on my jeep - eugene - and that first ride with the top down.....

*sigh*.....i can't tell you how much i love that feeling....

My little man.
Student of the week, and a write up in the school newsletter. :D
Your reading, hell you want to read, I can`t wait until the light goes on and you really start to enjoy it.
Go Matey, Daddy is so proud.

I don't believe in souls. But that pesky little technicality notwithstanding...

I love to read stuff that increases my understanding of my world. It may seem awfully pretentious to some people but I enthusiastically read the likes of Aristotle, Plato, St. Augustine, Rosseau, Locke, Einstein, Bertrand Russell and such. I'm making up for time spent in younger years drowning my brain cells in Budweiser and bong water. I read Greek plays, physics, philosophy, literature. If I have any one passion (besides my lovely wife, of course) that's it.

learning new things...

knowing people rely on me to speak the truth and help them find clarity...

Seeing your high bowling scores posted in the local paper.

Watching all this damn snow start to melt..........I'm lovin it.

WFMS:

Cate shared some great news with me and I couldn't be more happy for her. :D

*also adding an apology for all the dancing 'nanas in the p.m.*

WFMS is seeing some of my favorite ladies having a good day today. ;)

Den you are too cute. Those dancing nanas were warranted! :nana: See?

DC, thank you.

You both fed my soul... ;)

Such a seemingly simple question with so very many answers -- all of them individually:

Personally -- those things that really work fall into two categories: Inputs and Outputs

Inputs:

Loving looks from people I care about
Appreciation for those same people
Appreciation for tasks performed without expectation of return
Sky
Sea
Sand
Clean air
Quiet moments
gentle caresses
Open communication
The feeling of a woman's skin gliding beneath my fingertips
Words -- crafted and placed in an order that stimulates the thought processes -- whether or not I agree with the author

Outputs
Poetry
Erotic chat
Stimulatory touches applied just so
Exploring the various portions of a lover's body
Giving for no reason at all

These are the first thoughts -- just free association. A different day maybe different answers but for today. These are at the top of the list.

Forgot the most important one, the one that stirs everything inside of me:

My daughter's smile

seeing a four year old put olives on her fingers before eating them brings me joy. :)

Spending the day with some dear old friends and having a wonderful time without any posturing or one upmanship!

Definitely laughter, conversation, hugs--overall quality human interaction. As well as nature. As long as the sun shines, rain falls, and night creeps across the sky, I'll be happy to be alive.

Going to a movie and then having dinner with friends, and never noticing how much time you've spent because it's been so much fun.
