Okay I've just finished reading the whole thread. I checked xxxjessica's thread a while back but I never posted on it, I followed the whole "you people shouldn't post on other people's threads ):" drama and Kitten (or kitty, i don't know who it was) that girl that stood up to her and called her out on that stuff. First of all, I don't think anyone on this thread is a hypocrite because well, this is an open forum, anyone can see what's being posted, so its not behind her back. Second, I'm sorry that she had such issues but the reality of it is that most guys (yep, I'm being blunt here) only posted and adoringly nodded to anything she said because she was displaying herself like a piece of beef on a butcher's window. And I'm sure she had a couple of loyal cocks-- I mean, followers, but shit, like 80% of the posters on the pics thread don't just go in, toss a few words (that they use in every other thread) and carry on their wanking merry old ways.

I feel a bit bad for her, and I know that this is going to get me a lot of hate-mail but she really seemed short of a dozen Big Macs.

And what is the point? Are we that eager to demean someone? Was she out of line to expect abject loyalty? Yep, and she apologized for it. Did she think she had more of a connection with someone than she actually did and overreact, yep... and she apologized for it.

What is trying to be accomplished here? Are we going to suss out what exactly the proper behavior is, what kind of photos a woman can and cannot put up without being considered 'a side of beef'. In one of the popular threads a woman uses food to masturbate and eats it. Is this appropriate? Should she be called to the carpet for lurid behavior? There have been more than one dust up due to jealousy on this board and this won't be the last time that happens. There is nothing unique here, which is mindboggling to me.

I go back to when I first joined Lit I had wonderful mentors. What kind of mentors are you willing to be for newcomers?

Unfortunately, there is no last word on the subject and I really didn't see any attempts to lighten the mood. I think I'm asking legitimate questions of people involved directly with xxjessica in hopes of not having this all blow up once again when she returns.

Asking a question rarely is a sign of trying to get the last word. Right?

Well the thing I find disappointing here is that it looks more like this thread belongs on the General Board where everyone attemps to destroy any person who tries to be sincere. Sorry for not posting sooner.

I've talked to xxjessica and she told me what happened to her thread. She decided that she wanted to have it deleted.

Xxjessica felt that her thread had become a lot less fun. She said that some jealous, attention seeking posters (her actual words were much more colorful) had been attracted to the popularity of her thread and had sucked the fun out of it by filling it with their off topic and uninteresting chatter. She told me she was thinking of deleting the thread.

I urged her not to delete her thread. I told her that the vast majority of people who visited it were there for her and would support her and would express their annoyance towards people who were making negative contributions.

She thought about what I said, but decided to delete it anyway. Up until recently, she had enjoyed her thread a great deal and she told me that she may do something along similar lines in the future.

It's perfectally acceptable for HER to clutter someone else's thread, but heaven forbid someone do the same to hers.

Frankly I think she could be a lovely girl...but her inner beauty is dead.
