I understand where you come from, so well! Rules.
I've managed to cram 3 semesters worth of classes into two (95 ECTS instead of 60 ECTS). Happy seela! Also a little whacked out seela, because work + studying 1.5x the regular class load has taken its toll at times this fall.
Not enough time to procrastinate!

The key is not telling anybody about the amount of classes. The counselor I spoke with yesterday was slightly shocked when I told her the amount if credits I get. And actually I was really bummed out yesterday when it turned out I can't take two more classes I would have wanted to.
I've had to study on my own a fair bit, though, because I'm taking lots of classes in the wrong order. The law classes have been the most difficult so far because of that. And next semester Chinese and German are at the same time slot, so I'll have to do a bit more work on ny own. But I'll manage.

I got a new team member a few weeks back and he loves making cakes. Fancy delicious cakes. And bringing them in to work. It's a shame I can't bump up his performance evaluation for this.
