My first batch of kids are graduating and they apparently chased me all day until 10 minutes before class let out. They knew I wouldnt be in town for their graduation so they asked to film a short interview to play at their graduation. I was really honestly touched. Here is the kicker. I'd saved a bunch of things for them from Elementary school to give them for their graduation... I've already given them in sealed envelopes to the High School Principal to give to each one... but what I didnt expect... after they finished asking me for memories I had of them, and for parting advice they all pulled out a letter I'd written to each one of them individually the last year I taught them (grade 6). They had all kept them, and pulled them out from behind their backs to show me. I bawled. All of the love. All of it. I would never in a million years have thought they would keep them. <3
Wearing a pretty sundress to work today made me smile...even though said dress wasn't exactly work appropriate and I had to wear a long sweater over it so nobody would notice.
Was yesterday, but got home too late to write it.
True story: 6 th grade boy catches me in the hallway: "Hey Mrs. Name do you know Siri?" "Yeah?" "ARE you Siri?" " excuse me?" " you sound just like Siri ( three girls nearby nod) whenever I'm lonely I...." "STOP! Whatever you are going to finish that sentence with NO, Nope, no. I'm out *throws hands in the air and walks away*"
Got to the teacher's room cracking up so much, told only one girlfriend about it and had her in stitches too.
Now I gotta checkout Siri.

I'm 99% sure you don't sound robotic, but there's an easy way to shed even that 1% of doubt!
Seeing seela and getting a check in from Cassie.
somehow I thought you'd say that
Was headed into the grocery store. Had on a loose fitting, lightweight top. Wind picked up and blew it up over my head. Daughter shrieked and kept trying to hold it down. We had to schlump along as if we were one because she had to have one hand on the front and another on the back. I was pushing the car and giggling.
Raj, good always good
