What made you smile or laugh today? Part III

Volunteered at the VA, helped a WW2 vet get to an appointment. Almost blind, nearly deaf, he lives alone - no kids. It was a pleasure to sit with him just a few minutes, hold his hand as we waited for his prescription and thank him for his service.

Kinda puts my issues in perspective.

Sir is finally seeing a positive result at work due to things we worked on together earlier in the year. His boss just gave him his eval and it was positively glowing. I'm second hand proud because I helped him solve some of the issues ^___^.

My own class is wrapping up, and their final project went swimmingly, so I'm feeling like I accomplished something.

I enjoyed some morning sex before I went to work today ! Damn did that make me smile ..... It had been a few months since we have had the time to meet . This was totally worth being 20 minutes late to work I smile the whole drive to work .

Super crabby and like the most evil plans ever are in motion inside that furry little head!

I mean, of those two pictures I'd rather pet the raccoon, though I was just recently told how they're the most dangerous animal in Indiana or something, and won't hesitate to claw your eyes out.

Yes, raccoons are giant rodents with sharp claws. But that tired little guy looked like he needed a hug!

Our minor league baseball team, the Saints, are going to rename themselves the Raccoons for their next game.

so, years ago, I had two co-workers who didn't get along. Jane was a specialist, good at what she did but extremely abrasive, to the point where most of the clever stuff she implemented died because she pissed off the people who needed to support it. Bob was Jane's manager, although she got paid more than he did. I always got the vibe that Jane didn't respect Bob, and Bob found Jane a constant source of headaches.

Then Jane finished up her contract, and went off to the USA for a high-level whizkid job with one of the biggest companies on the planet. And some time later Bob also left, and moved to the USA, and I was vaguely aware that he was moving because his partner had got a job in the USA...

Today somebody finally joined the dots for me. I am still trying to process it.

Found a new little restaurant today filled with craft beers and waygu beef sliders for cheaps.
My mouth is still smiling over the taste of those two sliders.
