'You don't bust out of the gate with butt licking.'

Whaaaaat? You don't!?

A group of ladies in the nursing home have formed a little clique. They eat together, watch out for each other, watch tv together. Today, the four of them were all wearing tiaras!

:)

:)

First date should be incest and/or impregnation.

Butt-licking is really more of a second or third date event.

Apparently.

Tiaras! 👑 💟

I want to be like that when I am a golden oldie.

Got to make the kid's Ostra baskets, as they get in late tonight we'll give them to them tomorrow afternoon. It's a little thing, for a lot of moms. But everything hurt today (I hate loud music holidays) so it was a real effort. But other than Christmas and Thanksgiving, I don't really remember any holidays meaning something as a kid. Want more than an ambiguousmess I got as a kid for my own. Hubby and I agreed way before kids he can teach his Catholic-turned-agnostic and I can teach my pagan beliefs and they can chose which makes sense when they're ready. So while he doesn't see the point, hubby still drove and helped pick out buckets (my autistic son destroys woven baskets), the toys, and helped me carry them back to hide them. Can't wait to see their excited faces.

A work thing that I wasn't given much time to prepare for, but it went well and I am pleased :)

Cat being extremely snuggly. (I went away for TWO DAYS and while I was gone she morphed from "large kitten" to "cat". But still extremely cute.)

And my work finally got in the software that I've been waiting on for months, so I've had a very productive week and stuff is working and mostly doing what it's supposed to!

Update from the lady who's fostering Miss Smallcat's mother. She's still scared of humans, but slowly mellowing, and she looks so much healthier now thanks to regular meals, not having to feed kittens, and being de-flea'ed/de-wormed.

This crossword puzzle is proving a little trickier than I anticipated. It's nice to have a challenge to spend the day pondering.

That's wonderful and she looks gorgeous :rose:

I am smiling at having made a new 'little' friend who I can chat with about stuffies and things.

Plus.... new boots!

Laugh: how ridiculous the rain is on the coast. Could not stop laughing with how soaked I was after a brief walk...

and

Then after making me bread over a campfire (hot and only a little black on the top), he says..."There's no flour left at home."

I don't know why but this simple statement made me laugh and laugh and laugh.
there was not a thing to do about it. Home is hours away, the nearest store many miles. But...He told me this pantry deficiency with such seriousness ~ it cracked me up.

Spring gardening with the kids. What kid doesn't like to play in dirt...

My boss talked in general terms about a new initiative at the morning staff meeting, and asked us to think about some marketing concepts. I was totally into it and went back and worked up a fleshed out idea that he loved and called "amazing."

It definitely wasn't "amazing," but it was good. And it was a high to have tracked down my creativity again, and to bring it to work tucked inside my jacket and feed it sunflower seeds for giving me ideas. The fuzzy muse been crashing for months in a cramped warren under the toolhouse.
