The new apartment is so much cooler than the previous one was. There are big, beautiful trees outside and the apartment doesn’t get the almost 24/7 sunshine treatment like the old one did.

I’m actually enjoying the warm weather now that I can come home and not boil and I can sleep no problem. Ahh, now I kinda get why people like summer.

And I bought a new dress, that made me smile, too. And ice cream.

Trolling is sometimes too funny.

Someone was asking whether walking or bicycling is better to lose calories. One answer was:"Obviously walking, everyone knows that bicycling doesn't burn calories at all and too much bicycling makes you even gain fat."

So, of course, someone chimed in with:"Oh really, explain to me the correlation of bicycling and getting fat.", not really getting the sarcasm.

It was amusing, so I answered:"Well, when you bicycle, your feet are always resting on the pedals, they are only moving the same amount forward than they do backward, so you lose 0 calories, it evens out. And when you let your bike roll, then you gain energy back."

So far, so good.

But then someone was responding to me:"you serious?" and now everyone else joins in with:"Sure, didn't you know that?", "Well, I was told the same!", ...
