Knowing that today is the day that the woman I love and the sons that I am so incredibly proud of arrive home.

Family and friends start arriving tomorrow…
The rink in the backyard had the boards arrive and by day’s end it will be ready to rock for it’s inaugural skate.

I stand here on the veranda and look out on perfect ice that is just screaming to be cut by freshly sharpened blades.

The changing shack is loaded with firewood and the equipment is ready to roll for the ice to be cleared.
Another big dump of snow forecasted today…..making this Winter Wonderland even more beautiful than it is.

The coffee tastes better, the air fresher, and Christmas is just around the corner.

How can life be anymore amazing?
