I was supposed to go to a meeting at 10.
I realized at 9:55 that it would take me 15 min to get there. And that it was pouring rain (I would have to walk outside).
So, I emailed them and apologized. "I'm sorry, I've had a personal issue come up and I can't make the meeting this am."

My MIL does and has to work with clients trying to pull her hair out on a daily basis. But she seems to love her job and still gets job satisfaction despite the trauma.
