Walking through a snow covered trail with the trees so densely packed that little light could be seen.

As the path started to wander its way uphill, we found ourselves atop a solitary rise.

And in that moment, my eyes set on this woman next to me….

Bathed in moonlight….skin so pale, the freshly fallen snow seemed dirty in comparison to her purity.
The only colour…a hint of rose, from Old Man Winter’s caress.

Her breath bloomed out in front of her.
As if each exhalation worked in concert, to ensure that every step this beautiful woman takes…would be in warmth.

All of this in seconds of real life time….and yet, it will remain a memory for the rest of my seconds on this earth.

My smile was deep, and thoroughly appreciative.
