Told off a selfish person and they actually paused to think about it. So that was cool.

Told off is a very weird phrase if you think about it. I had to look it up to see if I was saying it wrong my whole life. Nope, it comes from the military term meaning to single someone out/give them a detail. First known to be used in the 1700s.

Also.. researching that made me smile.
