On another site I've been known to hang around on, some kid sent me (me, of all people!) a question about if it was weird to ask a boy she was only going to be around for a day if she could kiss him.

Normally I avoid the little plague rats. That was just so adorable I couldn't resist answering. Or being a little bit of an ass.

"Well, kid, if you and him are both okay with swapping slobber with each other and every other person they've let spit in their mouth by proxy, then pucker up, buttercup."

In a little bit, I got back; "but what about just a peck on the lips or on the cheek or something?"

I told her to go ahead. "It's not like it's sex, although it can be a gateway drug."

I am such an asshole. I can't stop laughing. "Ah, to be young and feeling love's keen sting." (However, I don't think I was ever quite that innocent.)
