What makes you look at a particular Amateur Pic thread?

But, in all seriousness, I rarely look at Am Pics. Every so often I’ll peruse. I pretty much skip every thread that says “My hot wife…”. Because I know that’s just some creeper.

I also avoid ones that say “I’m shy…”. I just don’t believe it. “I’m shy, but here’s my vagina.”

I vehemently avoid ones that say “penis” or “men”.

And if the room is unclean in pic one, I’m clicking away. Why do people take photos where their room looks like Fallujah?
So you haven’t visited the “My Hotwife is Shy, But She Likes When Men Stick Their Penis in Her Vagina” thread?

You don’t know what you’re missing!

The title has to interest me, then depending on what’s already posted within it I may then add a comment or photo

I don't go over there too much but I do visit occasionally to check if @NastyNyx has managed to return to Lit yet.

Because I damn sure didn't give her permission to be away for this long!

Just my way of saying we miss ya, Nyx. 😊:rose:

Days of the week , there are themed threads like tues and friday‘s . Also thread counts under the 1k mark , those are newer ones and like a bonus or perv lotto ticket. A lit ampic scatch off !

Totally understand that - but the risk/thrill shouldn’t be different for men v women, I wouldn’t have thought.
At least in the U.S., the ratio is wildly different! While there are vastly more pictures of women in the net compared to men, I have yet to see/hear/hear of/read of any man getting blowback from a dick pic EXCEPT from a specific woman he sent it to unsolicited.

Maybe there's something wrong with me, though, but the "how will it affect your job/professional prospects?" warning (PARTICULARLY as it is given to women) doesn't resonate with me personally. Couldn't regard a coworker/subordinate/superior any differently from having learned that she is "out there" with her top off or even (I know someone will call bullshit on this, but I have given it real thought AS A PARENT) having seen it myself. I have a pretty low opinion of anyone who would.

For me, I think it’s the positive and encouraging comments toward real women who post pics here. I have a lot of body image issues, and seeing positive responses, particularly toward women with a similar body type to mine, makes me a little less self-conscious.

The type of threads where the same 3 people post dozens of professionally-taken photos of models and porn stars every day don’t appeal to me. I’d like to see more threads where the users post pics only of themselves and everyone just says nice things about them LOL

Variety and recognized Litster‘s

If I see a ampic thread that has people I’ve seen around for years , or at least as long as I’ve been on Lit. I’m down for a like or some sorta recognition.

Unless I know they have me on ignore , then I go away and never see them in the threads again.

I’m an ass man so a great ass is always a must stop to check out any big booties lol pawgs especially 😍

Could not agree more, you articulated exactly what I was thinking.

I like threads with actual people too, not just endless fantasy reposts, and I particularly like when people engage and actually talk to each other between the pics with genuine respect and appreciation, not just "phwoar I'd rail that" comments.

I only tend to check out the threads started by members I find intriguing in other threads. If you're active in any of the music threads, you can be certain I've checked your profile to see if you have a pics thread. And if you do, I've lurked. That's not to say I don't check out the variations thread from time to time.

Most of the time I miss the good stuff though.

I don't typically post anything in those threads as it's already a bunch of parched creeps, and anything else feels like simping, so I'll typically just react to a well composed artistic pic.

And if you do look, what makes you comment or like?
  • Is it an intriguing or sexy title?
  • Are you more likely to look if you know the person posting?
  • Apart from maybe gender, are you seeking certain content?
Maybe there’s som other reason.

And if you do take a look…
  • Do you always like or comment to encourage more posts?
  • Do you only like or comment if the pics really do it for you?
  • Are you just there to anonymously look (never comment or like)?
I’ve dipped in and out of Lit over the years. A long time ago I summoned the courage to start my own pic thread, and I really enjoyed the response. So just recently I’ve decided to revisit the idea with a new thread. But guess what - not a single like or comment. Maybe the images are just no good. Maybe I’m not to people’s tastes. But now I’m not sure whether to keep going with it or not. Maybe I’m just not putting my best foot forward in the subject - hence taking the opportunity to ask here what I could be doing different or better.

I was going to attach a poll here, but can’t seem to find the option on my phone. Maybe I’ll edit again later when I’m on my MacBook.

And in case you’re curious about that pic thread if mine…

Here it is
love your pic thread!!

Sites like this are 90% guys. Girls mostly don't care about guys posting their pics. Their phones are overflowing with unsolicited dick pics. They don't care about more. The gay guys are interested but afraid you don't want compliments from other guys.
I think you are right about that
