I started hearing about this song within the last couple years. Several YouTube channels have listed it as one of the most influential bands and songs in popular music. The first time I heard it, I was like, yeah, that's pretty cool, but it sounds like The Cure, maybe the Smiths, the Pixies, Depeche Mode. Then I realized, OHHHH. Those bands wouldn't exist without this one! When the lead singer died, they became New Order, which also changed music forever. So here ya go.
