Being on my feet so much on my parents' hardwood floors lately while taking care of my mother has resulted in my feet, ankles, and lower legs swelling to elephantine proportions. So my mother gave me several pairs of compression socks she had so I could try to wear them and reduce some of the swelling.

Well, my ass was putting a pair of them on today and somehow fucked around and bent the nail of my middle finger back so far that it ripped it up from the quick. It was bloody and bruising and everything. I taped the whole mess down with a Band-Aid, but it's a bitch to try to type like this.
