What pissed you off today? Mark III

I'm not a Pod person, so if someone posted from a Pod, I wouldn't even know it let alone slap them on the back for it.

It's not that I expected random people on the street to say anything. I left the details intentionally vague in the post because I don't particularly want to out myself about where I work. But management congratulates everyone else who goes on the same podcast that I went on, and they said nothing to me. They were not unaware of my appearance on the podcast, either. That was kind of shitty, in my opinion.

People that start at the beginning of an old thread and start quoting/bumping posts that are years old.

The bird (cardinal) that is waging war on the bird in the mirror (my windows). This has been going on since daybreak.

My knee giving out at the mall, me swearing in front of several teenage girls, and having a couple help me up!

It's 94 degrees outside. My mother had me traipsing around in her jeep with no top (so in direct sunlight) and no air conditioner today.

I am on several different meds that affect heat tolerance. I'm pretty sure I had mild heat exhaustion. I came home and was trying to cool off in the air conditioning, and I'll be goddamned if my power didn't go out.

It's still out, by the way. I tried to report the outage, but somebody already had. I sincerely hope Alabama Power gets off their asses and fixes it soon.

My dad yelled at me twice while I was in the shower. The first time he yelled, I told him I was in the shower. Then, five minutes later, he yelled again. I assumed it was an emergency, so I got out. Readers, he just wanted to know if I had let the parrots out yet today. So annoying!

I have the oposite problem.
The thunder storm we had last night made temperatures drop.
I wish I could send you some of the cold.
A cool bath perhaps?
Personally I’m snuggling under a blanket.

Oh, wow! I would love some of the cold right now. I was actually just contemplating a bath, and then, luckily, the power came back on. May still have the bath, however.

I hope you can get warm and stay that way! It storms here a lot in the summer because of the heat (nearly every afternoon), but it doesn't do much to help the temperature, unfortunately.

A bath, something to eat, a bottle of water, and my air back on, and I am way better. :)

Y'all, the power went out again.

It's back up again now, but wtf, Alabama Power? You clear some of the highest profits of any energy company in the country. You could at least make sure my shit stays on.

Someone took my lunch out of the fridge and ate it.
I know who did because they were constantly drinking water.

Hmmm, cayenne pepper is a bitch, ain't it "Mayo's too spicy" executive?

I am getting next to no hours at my job and not a single other thing in my field is hiring for this position because the hiring cycle is a year or more into the future. I don't need a job next summer I need one now that will let me have any money whatsoever ever!.

That and I truly know the phrase you'd don't leave a bad job you leave a bad manager because fuck I am wanting to leave this job because of a single person and I'm not the only one. We've had at least a 50% staff turnover in the last 6 months and yet we are still struggling to evenly divide the workload. :( Frustrating.

Guy I know in Texas had his home invaded last week by armed thugs who trashed the place, took all his and his wife's work equipment and years of their creative projects, apparently all because he happens to have a nickname in common with some other guy who pissed them off a year ago.

Good news is, the cops know who did it.

Bad news is, the cops know because they were the ones who did it.
